Caroline James

Caroline James is a REALTOR that was born and raised right here in Welcome, NC. A North Davidson alumni, she can tell you the roads like the back of her hand. After Caroline graduated from North Davidson, she then attended Davidson County Community College, Appalachian State University & UNC Charlotte. Straight out of college, Caroline went to work into the NASCAR world at ECR Engines which is located on the campus of Richard Childress Racing. Caroline pursued her dream of becoming a Social Worker but it ultimately took a toll on her heart. Caroline's father, Keith, growing up always told her to give Real Estate a shot. He knew that she had a bone in her body for homes whether it was selling them or finding the right fit. Caroline realized that her Dad was right & she soon began her Real Estate career in January of 2019. Caroline's first year in Real Estate was tremendous. She closed almost 5 million dollars' worth in transactions alone. Caroline has been blessed with some amazing clients & referrals that are now apart of the Mantle Mafia family! She currently resides in Midway with her husband Luke James, their 3 dogs Ranger, Molly & Lucy and lots of farm animals. Caroline rescued a Texas Longhorn that wouldn't eat from his mom. She then gave it bottles multiple times a day until it was fully grown & is now a part of her goat clan. Caroline named him Moonshine after his daddy, RJ Bootlegger. Moonshine allows for Caroline to even walk him on a leash outside of the pasture. For fun, Caroline enjoys hunting, fishing and most outdoor activities. In addition to spoiling her pups and spending time with family, Caroline helps Luke operate J&H Greenhouses. They took over this business from Luke's grandfather, Bruce Hill who is well known in the community for his tomato plants. Caroline enjoys growing vegetable plants but is slowly convincing Luke to let her bring in Caroline's green thumb with adding more flowers.
