The Austin market was super hot and very competitive, she kept us focused and was flexible with our changing needs.A She was always available for setting up the house visits (as this was during the covid time), and doing a video call with us as we were remote in the Bay Area. She was very honest with her feedback on the properties, hence we had the confidence to buy our next home remotely.For the houses we liked, she was very helpful in pulling up comps and did a research for that property based on the houses sold around the area. This helped us tremendously in our offer pricing. Though most of our interactions with Carol were remote, she was always just a call away to clarify any questions around escrow closing and beyond.She also connected us to our lender who gave us the best rates. Both Carol and her recommended lender were always available outside normal working hours (weekend evenings). ZillowVERIFIED When I decided it was the right time to make a life change, which meant putting my home up for sale in Orange County AND purchasing a home in Texas, I knew that my good friend, Carol Polito was the only one that I wanted to work with on both my sale and my purchase. Carol has a wealth of knowledge on real estate in Orange County, and also in Texas, so I knew I would be in good hands. Her extensive background and experience in buying and selling properties is invaluable. She patiently dealt with all of my questions, my stressed out text messages and emails, and reassured me when I was struggling to understand all of the intricate steps that people go through when selling their home. We worked together on everthing from determining the sales price according to the current market, and factored in all of the improvements I had made to my home that was my haven for 18 years, to deciding how to stage my home for the open houses. I was very blessed to receive an offer from a couple who evidently appreciated all of the work I put into making my house a home that I was proud of, and they closed the sale with no issues. I know that a power greater than myself had a hand in bringing this couple to my home, who decided this home was one they wanted to make their own.All the while, I had to decide very quickly where I wanted to find my new home in Texas. I knew I needed to find a home that was for sale and ready, or nearly ready for move-in, so that I didn't have to move from Southern California into Storage, and then into my home some time later. Carol has developed an impressive grasp on the Central Texas area and gave me some excellent suggestions on where I should start looking to get a good feel for the area. I looked at many different subdivisions across several cities. I found several homes I liked, but none of them checked off quite enough boxes on my list of "wants and needs". I ended up deciding on the north of Austin area and narrowed my search down to two cities. I had been hoping to find, and was so fortunate to discover a home in a brand new subdivision that had been built as a spec home, which was move-in ready. I knew when I first walked into this home I liked it very much. It had some interesting design touches I hadn't seen before, as well as checking off more boxes than any other home I had seen yet. When I looked at the floorplan on the paper I was given by the builder as I was walking through it, I laughed out loud when I saw that it was called "The Webber", which just happens to be my last name, but it is spelled differently. I pretty much knew then that this was meant to be my forever home!Again, Carol walked me through each step of buying a new home here in Texas, explaining the similarities and differences of real estate in California and Texas. She helped keep me gounded and held my had every step of the way. She helped turn my rather complicated dream into a beautiful reality. She is my hero - and my friend.
