Carol Mooney

Carol has a love of design, and for her, it's a perfect fit with her work with her real estate clients. "With selling I love to do a lot of staging for properties," she says. "We have older properties in our area, so I love to help buyers come up with ideas that are mountain modern--changing a paint color, light fixture, or furniture can change the whole feel of the property. Sometimes people just need a little vision, and I'm willing to play!" In particular, Carol loves the new lifestyle that is emerging, particularly in Winter Park. "Our downtown is changing. We're getting people moving here from different backgrounds, they're looking for friends in the neighborhood. In my own neighborhood in Grand Park, the friend group has expanded... it was what I remember growing up as a kids, running free back and forth, knocking on each other's doors to come out and play." Originally from Massachusetts, Carol has called Colorado home for more than 20 years and has live in Grand County since 2005, gaining her real estate license in 2006. She began her real estate career at Re/Max Peak to Peak in October of 2014, joining the Grand Mountain Group team in the summer of 2017. As a detail-oriented person, Carol's "work smarter, not harder" ethic has led her to develop systems to help sales go through effortlessly, while utilizing strong marketing skills to bring buyers and sellers together smoothly and quickly. She prides herself on her client communication, marketing, social media, and her integrity as well as her knowledge of local markets. An avid biker and skier, Carol is not only an ideal tour guide within the local market, but also for all the best places to play in Grand County. Grand County is changing, Carol says, and she's eager to help clients navigate the shifting market. "I'm excited for the people finding us now," she says. "I love working with clients who are here for the lifestyle and like to be active, but I relate really well to people who are also into fashion, design, beauty, aesthetics. My ideal clients are fun, outgoing happy people who are excited to be here and will be part of the change and help Grand County grow."
