ZillowVERIFIEDCarol has helped my family with three seperate transactions, two times buying, one selling. She is the best in the business! She is very knowledgeable about the areas she works and helped to guide us so as to keep everyone from wasting their time. Carol took the time to get to know my family and our growing needs, which personalized our interactions, and my kids adore her. She really fought for us to get what we deserved for the house we sold and worked double time when we bought a house that the sellers trashed at closing time. We can not refer Carol enough and will most definitely use her for any future real estate business!

ZillowVERIFIED Carol showed my home to several potential customers, including the very important ones who purchased my home. She was very prompt in the preparation and execution of the paperwork. Even in helping me research my property Documents needed for the listing and sale. Working with Carol was a great pleasure and I will recommend Roots Realty to any one looking to sell or buy a home.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I purchased our first home with Carol last November. We had absolutely no idea what were doing. Looking at homes way out of league and being completely overwhelmed by the process. We met with Carol one day and went over a list of things we'd like to have in a house, she quickly settled us down and took all the pressure off our first time shoulders. Carol worked super hard to find us our perfect home. We would recommend Carol to anyone looking to buy a new home, the amount of knowledge and care she puts into finding homes for her clients is unbelievable. Thanks again Carol!

ZillowVERIFIED Carol helped us buy our first home ten years ago, and just helped us sell it recently. Both experiences, although separated by a decade, were exceptional. Carol knows her business! She is extremely knowledgable but never pushy, offering insights and suggestions but always willing to do what her clients feel comfortable with. I would recommend Carol without the slightest reservation- in fact, I do so regularly!

ZillowVERIFIED Carol's positive attitude is a definate selling feature. We were leaving for a trip of a lifetime when our house went on the market. We got an offer and went under contract a few weeks before leaving. Carol took care of the sale and we closed while we were in Anchorage, Alaska. We would definately recomment Carol to get the job done.

ZillowVERIFIED Carol Kilburn has helped us buy 2 houses and sell a house! She was extremely amazing and helpful. Our first home she negotiated and got us a great deal! When she was selling that home she sold it in just 3days for more than we bought it for!! She was so great to work with and I recommend her to everyone that I know that needs a real-estate agent. On top of all that she is a great person and is always willing to answer any questions no matter what the day or time is.

ZillowVERIFIED Carol was a lifesaver for my husband and myself. We had to find a house in one weekend before relocating states and she made that possible. She navigated several setbacks with her expertise and general savvy paving the way for us to find a house that meet our needs. Her responsiveness to all of our questions was always so fast! We are so grateful to her and for everything she did to ensure our family moved to Maine in the best possible scenario. I've recommended her to friends and if we choose to move she will be the first person I call to get that ball rolling.

ZillowVERIFIED Carol was very knowledgeable in house systems ( septic, well etc) as we looked at older camps, as well as understanding newer built homes (radon systems, etc). She handled negotiations between the seller and ourselves objectively with good advice and in a timely fashion. She was also very helpful in coming up with different ways the space in a house could be used, or remodeled within a budget. She was willing to track down information we needed about associations, taxes etc. And always friendly and energetic. You got the sense Carol really enjoys helping people find the right property for them. I would highly recommend her.

She gave us professional tips to help fix up our house to show better for selling and has always answered our calls and questions! We will do all our future real estate business with her, for sure!

ZillowVERIFIED Carol helped push my home purchase through in time to receive a large first time home buyer tax credit from the state. She warned me that things would have to go faster due to the shorter closing period. I did not have any additional stress during this time as she made everything easy. We had actually given up on finding a home. Carol called me to let me know she had found something perfect for me. Now that we are getting married and moving on, we are under contract on our new home with Carol. Very easy and knowledgeable. She is easy going and won't give you a hard time.

ZillowVERIFIED Keen knowledge of seasonal properties in lake region. Carol appraised property and sold in timely fashion. Carol was unprompted to update us either by phone or by email when she had a showing or had a call on the property. ZillowVERIFIED Carol is an excellent broker. I wouldn't consider working with anyone else. She has patiently showed us many properties. Most recently, we were looking for an apartment building to buy as an investment. When we wanted to see a building, she was always prompt in getting an appt. She would research it first and could answer most questions during the walk through. If not, she would get right back to us.She helped us buy a great property in the Portland area. She also communicates well with the other brokers, which makes the process less stressful. Carol is a hard worker and she knows her stuff!
