Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

The first step in the home buying process is getting pre-approved with a trusted lender. I always recommend contacting a few and choosing one that you feel comfortable with and be sure to ask what fees they charge and compare!

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

I love asking sellers what they love about their property and what they may change or dislike. It gives you an idea from their perspective. Definitely always recommend depersonalizing, and if selling furnished, I always recommend removing items that are not negotiable to prevent confusion later if possible. I always promote open communication and expect that of all of my clients!

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I work with buyers and sellers alike! I work with investors, second home buyers, retirees, relocation, first time home buyers, etc.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

The transaction that sticks out the most to me, is a gentleman that I sold a lakefront home to. He had been looking for quite some time and had made an offer on a different property but the contract fell through. He absolutely loves the property he purchased and is always thanking me and telling me. The fishing is good and he's already got a new boat dock for his house boat that's been in his family for years! Making clients happy is my #1 priority! I will never pressure them into making a purchase!

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

My grandmother sold real estate when growing up outside of St. Louis! I used to go on home tours with her after school and loved it! I always wanted to sell real estate and finally took the leap and am very glad that I did!

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I have been a business owner for a long time and know what it likes to work your butt off for everything you have in life! Work hard = play hard!

Certainly put her through the wringer and she hung in there. The lake is not easy to get around but we finally found our dream. My wife and I would recommend her for anyone not familiar with the lake Ozark areas. Lots to see but not easy.

Carol was able to help us sell a piece of property that literally had not sold for years and years despite our best efforts. She was creative and very diligent at following up on people who might have shown an interest. We closed on that property today, and could not have been more pleased. We would highly recommend her for any lake of the Ozark real estate needs. She is a lovely person!

I found myself in need of an agent unexpectedly. I was unfamiliar with the process of buying land, getting a loan, etc. I reached out to Carol and was NOT disappointed. She was knowledgeable and patient. She checked in with me often to make sure I was aware of upcoming deadlines and see if I had questions about anything. She also communicated with my lender to make sure financing was on track. Great customer service and great communication. Thank you, Carol! She's wonderful to work with. If you need an agent, I would recommend giving her a call.

I have dealt with many realtors over the years and not one of them treated my listing the way Carol did even though it was just a lot. Carol's attention to working her listings is the best I have ever experienced. If I was selling another property in her area Carol would be my first choice by far.

Carol took the time to contact me after I responded to a marketing flyer, and since that time she listed my property, found a buyer within a few weeks, and stayed in touch with me almost daily throughout the entire process. Her attention to my needs as a seller of a very small parcel of land made me feel like I was selling a million dollar home. I feel so very fortunate to have found her!

Carol was very fast to get comps, arrange for the listing and take care of the details. Not only was her service fast so was the sale and she handled the paperwork and follow ups as expected. Highly recommend her to others at the lake.
