Despite the challenges of this price range, Carmen and her team treated us like we were buying a million-dollar house. When we toured houses that didn't fit our criteria- no pressure, no problem. On to the next one. Carmen had an incredible knowledge of home features and proved to be a very valuable resource. She was very knowledgeable of the different areas we looked in and had great advice about resale and other considerations that might be top of mind for a client looking at starter homes. Carmen was very responsive, 24/7, even after my the sale had gone through. My basement flooded the first day in my new home; she answered promptly when I called with a question about my home warranty and even followed up later to make sure things got worked out. As a young, buyer I didn't have extra funds to work with at closing, and Carmen was able to get me a great deal (even with competing offers) that left money in my pocket for repairs needed. ZillowVERIFIED Carmen did a fantastic job finding us our new home! She really earned this sale - in our home-buying process, we had two houses under contract. The first home had uncooperative agents and an equally uncooperative seller, but we absolutely loved it. Without Carmen's calm persistence and incredible negotiating skills, we never would have gotten a contract. Unfortunately, that deal fell through after the home inspection, but Carmen never complained about the hours she spent dealing with unpleasant - even rude - personalities to get us that deal. She just showed us the next house! She stayed on top of everything through the whole process, and made sure closing went smoothly in spite of a last-minute mistake by our lending agent. During our five-month experience with Carmen, we also paid attention to her listings. She hasn't sold a home for us, but we noticed that her listings had an attention to detail many other agents don't bother with, and her houses always seemed to be priced perfectly for the market.

She was eager and very motivated to find the house of our dreams. Attentive but not overbearing. Very detail oriented and listened well to must-haves, and was able to see the property for what it is, and talk us through possible issues or prospective selling points at each property. The real work came closer to the closing. We purchased over the holiday season and she was very on top of closing details, as well as wrangling the selling agent who was a very poor communicator. She provided a fantastic home inspector suggestion, and organized a home warranty provided by the seller at closing that we have used twice in the first five months.
