ZillowVERIFIED Carlyn is very aggressive and knows how to sell a house quickly. However, in order for the process to work, you need to be prepared to do what she tells you as soon as possible. She will recommend the date/time period to list the house and she will recommend the listing price to get you the most competitive offers as fast as possible. My house was 95 years old and did not get any offers when it was first listed in the Fall with a different realtor. When I contacted Carlyn, I wanted to hold off on relisting until the Spring. She compromised and highly suggested that we list it in February to get ahead of the Spring market. She was right because she got an offer within 3 days of listing it, and she did the hard negotiating with the buyers agent in order to get me closer to what I was asking in terms of the price. We did run into some hurdles after the inspection and appraisal where I had to credit money back, but Carlyn further negotiated to allow me to keep more money than I otherwise would have. In other words, she negotiated with the buyers agent to get them to cover some of the repair costs to keep the sale moving forward and allow me to keep a little more money. Carlyn prefers texting vs phone calls, so she usually cant pick up for many calls, but she always responds to text messages quickly and will provide you with any relevant feedback or forms that you need to sign. She will text you if there is a digital form in your email that needs to be signed. Overall, she is very businesslike and will work to do what she advertises, but you as the seller just need to follow her instructions and handle any issues that come up quickly if you want to successfully sell a house in a short period of time.
