He's not about making profits, but actually has your best interest. He's a good guy all around. I trust him and he has so much patience. We have been living in another state, renting our home out to tenants--anywhere from 3-4 tenants in the home at any one time, all managed by a management company. We decided to sell this year and were unable to get a competitive offer until talking to Carlos. His intimate knowledge of the properties and people was obvious right away--we got a top-market offer before long. There were also repairs and maintenance that needed to be coordinated as well as other loose ends. We weren't around and had no way of telling if things were being done properly or not--Carlos took care of it all with the highest level of integrity and professionalism--he returned emails and texts in usually less than 2 minutes! He also copied us on all the closing documents as well as motivated the buyers and their agent to be on-the-spot about closing on time. The whole thing could have gone horribly wrong, but thanks to Carlos Gutierrez, we are looking at a low-hassle, high profit sale in less than a month.

We live out of state and had nobody else in Redlands who could help us prepare to sell our home. We were initially very anxious about how we could do this, especially as it was in need of some minor maintenance and upgrading, new carpeting, etc. He went out of his way and literally helped take care of everything for us. For example, he found the maintenance people to help with the minor repairs. He himself made multiple trips to the local Home Depot so he could help us with some upgrades and new carpeting. Had it not been for his flexibility and help with things outside the normal realm of his job description, we would not have been able to list or sell the home. We trusted our home to him from the very beginning. He was not just a real estate agent to us, but ended up feeling more like family. Given we live out of state, we ended up having numerous phone conversations. He was always there to talk to us, even though I am sure he has multiple clients and is very busy with multiple properties. Despite many calls to him about updates or to chat about our house, not once did he ever say he was too busy to talk to us. He was always prompt in responding to any text or email and never kept us waiting. We really appreciated this. He clearly did his homework on all the properties in our area, and was very clear from the beginning on what to expect as we put our home for sale. By closely working with him, trusting him, and taking his experienced advice into consideration, we were able to sell our home within 6 weeks after it was listed. I truly feel that the above words really do not do justice to the marvelous job Carlos has done for us to help us send our home. His personal care, true professionalism, attention to detail, and true dedication to his work is impeccable.
