ZillowVERIFIED We recently bought property without our own agent. Carla was the seller's agent but was very responsive and professional in dealing with my wife and I. During the negotiating process, she took our offers and withing a day had contacted her client and responded with a counter. When a price was agreed upon, she walked us through the closing process with the Title company as we were out of state. She knew we were doing our due diligence and looking at other properties in the area but was never pushy. It was a joy to deal with her. I would highly recommend her.

Being a single mom w/ 2 teenagers we desired a great house with a pool. Carla made herself available on the weekends and after 5pm during the week. We looked at homes after normal business hours if we could so I could see more homes during the week too. Carla was prompt in answering all of my questions and pointed out things in homes that I would have never noticed. ZillowVERIFIED Carla Bruce was our buyers agent for a property in Englewood, Florida. We did research on Zillow beforehand so we had a list of properties to look at. Carla didn't add anything to our list aEUR" doing little to help us find the right house. She was late both times that she took us on showings aEUR" so late that we missed seeing houses on our list. Near the end of one outing her phone ran out of charge so she couldn't use the unlock app to open lock boxes and we couldn't get into some of the homes aEUR" and she didn't think to bring a car charger. When we made an offer below asking price on a property, she included our paying for $2,300 in title insurance without the seller even asking for it simply to appease the seller. She convinced us *not* to ask for a home warranty and we have just paid $6,500 to replace the A/C unit only 2 months after moving in. When we received the tax bill from the county it was $1,305 more than estimated for the closing because Carla neglected to discover that the seller had removed the homestead exemption for 2017 aEUR" something that someone moving to Florida might not understand but which a buyers agent should certainly have checked. Carla did not fulfill her fiduciary responsibility as an agent who was supposed to be looking out for our best interests. We recommend that buyers not use Carla Bruce.

She researched quickly within two days had the listing on MLS. Multiple showings over the weekend and it was on deposit in 4 days!!! She offered me great advice as I needed it and keeps me informed during the process. Excellent service.
