I started out looking around on Zillow myself and met Carissa at one of the houses I was viewing (she was assigned to help me by Zillow). She did such a great job asking all the right questions of the seller and seemed so knowledgeable and friendly that I decided to take her up on her offer to show me around more places. From that point on I was hooked and couldn't have asked for anything more from a realtor. Even when I was going to a weekend open house 60 seconds from my place and told her I could just pop over on my own, she insisted she was free and could drive the 30 minutes to meet me for the extra support and help. We looked everywhere from Concord to Livermore to leave no stone unturned and confirmed that we'd ultimately prefer San Ramon or Danville. I had to bring my 4 year old son along for all these visits as well, and thankfully Carissa is amazing with kids and he absolutely loved hanging out with her while I explored the houses! She even managed to keep our rambunctious boy from breaking anything or getting into any other trouble, quite the feat! He still asks about her to this day (2 months later). We soon got lucky and found a perfect place in Danville but then ended up bidding against someone else. Carissa gave us many tricks to win the bid without really upping our price and thankfully was able to secure the deal and make both sides happy! I wasn't very familiar with the buying process, paperwork, financing, etc. etc. Luckily Carissa knew every bit of it inside and out as she used to work on the financing side as well. She even spoke directly with one of my loan officers to help clarify an issue I had. She helped the entire process go quickly and smoothly and we went from thinking we couldn't get into a house for another year, to looking around online, to visiting many places, to putting in our offer on the perfect place all in about 1 month (and closing on time within 30 days after that)! I didn't have financing secured, and was still choosing a lender and having 2 lenders battle it out after putting in the offer! It was a lot of work in a very short amount of time and almost unbelievable that it all happened so fast and worked out so well, and Carissa was a big part of that.
