ZillowVERIFIED I was very nervous when it came time to sell our home because we were living out of state. The fact that I would be far away from the process of readying the house and the actual showing of the property initially seemed like a huge challenge. However, Cal's help made the process painless! He knew the community and provided me with an accurate selling price, as well as an honest assessment of repairs, etc. we needed to make in order to ready the property for sale. He was easy to reach, and when not available, always returned my calls promptly. Our tenants were still living in the house when it was shown, and Cal treated them respectfully and worked with them to arrange showing times that worked with their schedules. He used a variety of online media to market the house, and our house sold within the time frame I had hoped for. I had to make only one trip to SC during the entire process, and that was for my initial meeting with Cal and to arrange for repair work. We were able to complete everything else on the phone and through online communication. It was a huge relief to be able to trust Cal, and to feel good about the sale of the house. Some have a preconceived notion that an agent is out for the sale regardless of the fit for the buyer. This was not the case with Cal. The first house we looked at, the second I walked in the door, he flat out said "I don't like this house". Then he pointed out all of the potential work that may need to be done and really helped make an informed decision. This was a standard for every house we looked at. He worked with me and helped me figure out what I want in a house. He answered every question I had along the way and addressed/assuaged every concern that popped into my head. My best interests were his #1 top priority all the way to the end. If I ever move again, Call will be my first choice.

My mother was quite ill in another state and I needed to leave by June of 2018 to help her through these later years. My house was located in a very depressed area where high-end houses like mine did not sell for years...when he took the listing, he gave good suggestions which I followed. His response time was not in hours; it was in minutes!! He never over-promised but did what he said he was going to do. His word was his bond. ZillowVERIFIED I recently purchased a property on Edisto Island and used Mr. Griffin as my agent. He was very respectful the entire time and he made the process enjoyable. Mr. Griffin was very quick to answer any and all questions, in most cases, as soon as I asked the questions. On one occasion, I traveled to Edisto to look at the property I was purchasing and Mr. Griffin helped me secure a place to stay on the Island even though the largest fishing tournament of the season was in full swing. As my agent, Mr. Griffin even reached out to the lending company to speed up the closing process when it seemingly stalled.
