If you don't have a lender, ask your real estate professional for recommendation. That makes everything a lot smoother once you're pre-approved and you know what you can afford on a monthly basis. You won't be bidding on a house, or miss out on a house because you don't have your financing put together. Another piece of advice, tell your agent the truth! That will also help out with the transaction. The more open and honest you are with your agent, the more they're going to be able to help you get what you desire.
