Review While vacationing in Cambria last year, I fell in the love with the town. I walked into Real Estate Company of Cambria on a whim, where I met Bruce Koontz. Bruce selected a number of properties in my price range to see. I fell in love with a cottage in a perfect location as a second home. I had to return home to Florida but Bruce assured me that he would keep me posted on the property. This is where Bruce, and his associate Shelley Savoie, added value to their services. While living in Florida, Bruce and Shelley walked me through the offer and purchase process, from inspections to closing. They did all the legwork. Bruce has a list of local resources, and he introduced me to a handyman, and other service providers to continue to care for the property during my absence. Bruce continues to check in with me to this day to see if there is anything I need him to do, because I also reside in Florida. Review We were vacationing in Cambria when we noticed that an interesting home had just been listed for sale. We immediately called Shelley. She had shown us some other homes for sale in the past but none of them fit our needs. With this latest listing she agreed to show it to us that very same day and we then worked together to submit an offer to the sellers within one day. There were multiple offers on the property and ours was not the highest. Shelly then proposed a backup offer to submit just in case the highest bid did not work out. Our backup offer eventually became the highest offer and with more negotiation - with lots of guidance from Shelly and Bruce - we were able to close the deal.

This power father/daughter team went out of their way for us on several occasions as worked tirelessly to find us our dream home. We were living 6 hours away and on at least a dozen occasions either one or both of them would connect with us on FaceTime and spend all the time we wanted walking us through the subject home. Shelley even took us on a walk around the neighborhood and to the hiking trail of the house we eventually fell in love with, negotiated an outstanding offer for, and are now living in!This wasn't our first rodeo. After 33 years married, this was our 4th home purchase and they are by FAR the absolute best Realtors we have ever had. Review We were looking at property out of town and clicked on a Zillow link to tour the house. Bruce called immediately and in two hours we had an appointment to look at a house we were interested in (and it was owner occupied.) We returned to our current home, four hours away in San Francisco, and considered our options before making an offer. Bruce handled the details and helped us through a fairly complex back and forth negotiation. Since we were in the city, Bruce acted as our proxy, showing up to attend inspections and other "in person" roles we couldn't attend. We're in our new home now, and Bruce has followed up again and again to make sure everything is up to expectations. Bruce did a terrific job as our representative on the ground.

Review Bruce did an outstanding job for us. We sold our house with Bruce, he nailed it with the listing price, we got multiple offers, and he advised how to write the counter offer. We ended up with sale that was $17,000.00 more than we expected. We found another house in Cambria that met everyone of our wants, and he miraculously got both houses to close on the same day. Which was no easy task as the house we purchased had several issues, which needed to be negotiated so that we could afford to make the purchase. Bruce is extremely diligent and patient, and did a great job in holding our hands through both selling and buying processes.
