After one meeting, Jennifer had a real grasp of my needs, and helped to make some critical movingt decisions which led up to the ability to get me in a home ahead of schedule, flawlessly, and about $20,000 less than I had anticipated. I had met Bruce Bachtel earlier in the year and felt he might be a good candidate for a realtor. My wife and I agreed to interview several real estate agents to see who would best meet our needs and anticipate quirks in the process. We met with Bruce first. That was all we needed.After leaving the Keller Williams office, we realized that the Bachtel Team was absolutely the right fit for us. One of the first things Bruce does is hire, at no expense to the client, a professional "home stager" to do an extensive walk-through of the house and provide expert suggestions on how to maximize the time and budget so as to make the home show-worthy and inviting. The "stager" did just that, providing plenty of suggestions, helping us shape the plan for the house.Once the work was underway (most of which we did ourselves), Bruce was always available for input and quick to send any documentation that needed to be filled out and collected. The Bachtel Team is focused on making a crazy experience as low-stress as possible. We began the renovation of the house the first week of October, 2013. The house went on the market officially the last full week of October. After being on the market for only four days, we had a contract on the house! After another month of inspections and final repairs, we closed the first week of December 2013 for nearly $10,000 more than what I initially paid for the house!There are not enough stars to indicate how skilled and professional Bruce and his colleagues are. There is always a chance we will be moving out of the Greenville area in the next few years. Without a doubt, we will be calling on the Bachtel Team to help my wife and I sell our current house!
