Buying was the more straightforward leg. We landed a newer home that had already been sitting on the market for a bit, and Brooke used that to our advantage aEUR" she tracked the pricing closely and knew exactly where there was room to negotiate. We walked away with concessions on both the price and a handful of upgrades to the house, and that wasn't going to happen without someone who knew how to push in the right spots. Selling was trickier. Older house, and the market had moved since we'd originally bought it. The part that really stuck with us was the option period after inspection aEUR" Brooke broke down everything the buyer was asking for, told us plainly what was worth fixing and what wasn't, and coached us on where to hold our ground. That's really the thing about her: she's on your side, but she's not going to tell you what you want to hear if the market says otherwise. Her read is the one you want. We got the timeline and the offer we needed on the sale, and honestly the whole process aEUR" both buying and selling aEUR" was smoother than we had any right to expect. If you're buying or selling in Central Texas, Brooke is the person you should be working with.

I am incentivized to use a realtor for the company I work for, but I was going to buy a year ago and got a mediocre service. After talking to Brooke, I knew her knowledge and professionalism are far more valuable than the benefits I?d get if I had worked with someone else who isn?t as good as her. She provided guidance but never pressured to buy or even pushed for a house in particular. Homes in certain areas another realtor a year ago called ?sketchy? with a look of disgust in her face without backing up her opinion with facts (not knowing if maybe I come from a similar place, or that?s what I can afford so her comment could make me feel uncomfortable). I am incentivized to use a realtor for the company I work for, but I was going to buy a year ago and got a mediocre service. Homes in certain areas another realtor a year ago called aEURoesketchyaEUR? with a look of disgust in her face without backing up her opinion with facts (not knowing if maybe I come from a similar place, or thats what I can afford so her comment could make me feel uncomfortable). Brooke, on the other hand, gave insights on price comps in that same area, quality of the construction and appliances, the soil situation, etc., so we decided not to buy in that area, but she did that in such a professional and impartial way that is quite impressive. Brooke helped us negotiate with the seller and we ended up getting a home we love. She explained every step of the process very clearly, is quick to respond over text/email and her responses are very well researched. I highly recommend working with Brooke.
