She specializes in helping long distance customers with home purchases making communication key; she went out of her way to be available to communicate with us despite our 7-hour time difference (we were in Germany at the time). Her understanding of the Omaha real estate market and her industry is a mark above the rest - there was no question that she did not have a helpful and accurate answer for. There was never a time that she didn't seem to drop what she was doing to go look at a home that we were interested in and with each home she looked at she made detailed videos giving us confidence in our home purchase. Her use of social media to create a private space to store video tours of houses for us to view and review was extremely helpful and novel to us. I have to repeat a point about her can-do attitude; we originally had a different realtor who told us we should not bother trying to purchase a home with a VA loan; however, when we switched to Ms. LaHayne, her attitude was the opposite and she really helped us get nearly everything we were looking for (we actually were able to buy a house at list price). After the sale, Ms. LaHayne continued to help us with home improvement specialists and detailed instructions on how to set up our home in the US from overseas. We were ready to buy a house, but wanted to know what our options were in the neighborhood before committing. Brittney showed us a house we absolutely loved, sadly it sold without them telling her. I took her card with me and let her know during her follow-up of the open house that we were just beginning to look to see what the market had to offer. She invited us to contact her if and when we were ready to buy and she would be elated to help us. In May of 2017, my husband and I reached back out to her to see if her offer still stood to aid us in finding a home. She immediately responded back to us with enthusiasm to help us search. Without any hesitation Brittney jumped on board to meet us at the house the very same day (within 2 hours!) and not only show us the house but also give us all of her information and business packet immediately. Even with the trouble of houses selling before we were able to view them, Brittney persisted to find a home that we were searching for with no hesitation. She was very flexible with adding additional viewings to scheduled ones and called to gain access to view homes immediately. With all of the showings Brittney was very quick to point out potential issues and wonderful assets of each house. She was also knowledgeable and honest about if she believed a house was priced a bit high and if an appraisal would reflect that price or not. Once we found the home we wanted the home buying process has been extremely smooth and simple for us. Brittney and her associates have done the brunt of the footwork and explained any and all questions or concerns we have had. It is clear that she has a passion for what she does and genuinely cares and respects her clients through the entire process. The associates she corresponds with are up to par with Brittney's hard work ethic, exceptional customer care and service, and enthusiasm to make the home purchasing process as enjoyable as possible.
