The search was so pleasant and Brian understood immediately what we were looking for. We found Brian to be easy to talk to, a very careful listener, insightful, creative, and highly knowledgeable. He gave us wonderful suggestions about local neighborhoods that were more likely to have the style of house we wanted and also be within our price range. He was always ready to meet us at a listing, and pointed out important features of the properties we visited so that we could make an informed assessment. There were a lot of cash buyers and my wife and I were looking for our first home and utilizing an FHA loan. We started our looking in June of 2013. Competition was extremely fierce. We made several offers only to be outbid by a cash buyer. Brian was extremely encouraging and we kept the search up. We finally were able to close in August on our first home and it was within our search criteria. And I had a terrible time making a final decision in a difficult market. Brian was absolutely amazing in terms of patience and presence. He knows the Claremont area very well and his knowledge was helpful to assess the price and value of homes. When I finally saw the house I wanted, he was quick to act and negociate. He was very helpful about the tons of paperwork that needed to be taken care of. And when I finally signed the contract, he provided names of good people he knew to help me fix things in the house. Brian was always friendly, good humored but also very serious in his job. I grew very fond of him. After a couple of days in the new house, i received a Starbucks thank you card in the mail. I chose Kendrick Real Estate because of their local expertise in the foothill area, but I specifically selected Brian to be our Realtor because of the personal attention he gave us. Brian's honesty really struck a chord with me. He was always there to guide us in the various complicated decisions, but never told us what to do. Final decisions were always up to me, the customer. He offers excellent advice and guidance, but is NOT pushy at all. He is the type of guy who builds relationships with his customers and because of that, working with him becomes a natural process.
