We went under one house and that turned out to be a real gamble but Brett did a great job giving us all the warning signs that this house is not a good one and we should walk away from the deal. That just shows he's not in it for the money he wants us to make sure we find our perfect house. The house that we eventually purchased Brett agreed this was the best house that we've seen! He negotiated a larger credit back from the sellers and was able to get all necessary work done way in advance of our DD date! Brett Carraway is the BEST realtor in NC hands down! I would recommend him to everyone and anyone that is serious about buying a house! Brett helped us do that in a timeline that was perfect and was there from step one, and is still there after we've completed the process. This was our first time selling a home and it definitely can be stressful. He guided through what we "should" fix and the things buyers will look for, so we'd get the most out of our investment. Our appraisal was within 5k of our asking, which proved he knew the market and got top dollar for us. There isn't enough words to describe how thankful and happy we are for asking him to help us purchase and sell homes. We'll probably do the same process several years again due to home values increasing and he'll be the first agent and only agent we'll call!

ZillowVERIFIED From day 1of talking to Brett about what I was looking for in my first house all the way up to closing day Brett was AMAZING! He listened to all my wants and needs and only sent me suggestions that were within those guidelines. When it came to different areas around Charlotte, Brett was very knowledgeable about the new and soon to be upcoming areas as well as the not so good areas. He was able to point out things when driving into neighborhoods like road expansions, shopping centers etc that will help add value and convenience to the homes in the future. He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and what was needed to proceed. I used my VA loan benefit, which Brett had experience with, and during the process of looking at multiple houses he was able to point out some things that the VA would or would not pass in inspections. Brett was very attentive to all my questions and concerns throughout the entire process and would respond almost immediately. He was very honest as well. If he didn't know the answer to something he would get in touch with someone or a resource to make sure I knew the correct information. When it came down to putting in an offer and then closing Brett went above and beyond to make sure that I was getting the house for the correct price! I would and have already highly recommend Brett for anyone searching for a home in the Charlotte and surrounding areas!
