ZillowVERIFIEDBrett has helped us with the purchase of an investment property and with renting out a rental property we already had. He was excellent to deal with in both situations. Prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant. We will definitely recommend him to others.

ZillowVERIFIED It didnt take long for Brett to understand what we were looking for. We had been looking for an appropriate home for five years and had experience with multiple agents who did not understand our specific needs, so working with Brett was a breath of fresh air. He was very knowledgeable and helpful (even after the sale!) with the history of building, construction, maintenance etc. as well as local laws. It was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend him to a friend and use his services again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Out of a strong recommendation from my attorney, I chose Brett as my realtor to help guide me through complicated sales involving two properties. One was a larger home in Selinsgrove, and the other was a short sale of a much smaller home in Downtown Lewisburg. The short sale was contingent upon a second mortgage being placed on the Selinsgrove home. Brett was instrumental in not only communicating between my bank, my attorney, and potential buyers but also in informing me about any critical issues with the properties. I appreciated how brutally honest he was when certain modifications or repairs had to be done. He was also extremely knowledgeable about what homes in the area were sold recently and how my properties compared to them in terms of size, quality, and price. His advice on pricing always seemed to be in the best interest of my family. If there was one piece of criticism that I had to give, it would be that Brett likes to play it as safe as possible. There were some situations where I felt we could have squeezed a little bit more money if we took more risk. For example, Bretts final price recommendation on my Selinsgrove home was several thousand dollars lower than the price I chose to list it at. And we ended up getting an offer than exceeded that price/expectation. The short sale of my Downtown Lewisburg home attracted many buyers; I sometimes wonder if increasing the price would not have been so bad. Overall, I am grateful to Brett for helping me navigate through such a complex and uncertain housing situation. If you are in the Selinsgrove/Lewisburg area, I would highly encourage you to reach out to Brett in assisting you with selling/renting your property.

ZillowVERIFIED Brett did a great job for us during our home buying process which happened be during COVID-19. He was very easy to work with and very knowledgable. He took the necessary precautions regarding the Coronavirus in order to keep everybody safe. He was diligent and did a thorough job and things went smoothly despite the situation so I can only imagine how efficient he and his team would be without a complete shutdown of the economy. We highly recommend Brett Barrick.

ZillowVERIFIED Moving back into PA for the first time in 17 years Brett was very quick to assist me in finding a home in a very short amount of time and with limited inventory available in our requested school district. Brett's knowledge of the area and his assistance with local vendors made this a smooth transition for my family. Brett hold your hand all the way through the process and was able to find us a home that met all of our needs and checked off almost all of our boxes.

ZillowVERIFIED This was our first time buying a house and we did not realize how stressful and time consuming it would be. Brett was there with us along the journey. Brett was so helpful with answering any question we had in a very timely manner. When I would get stressed out, Brett would be there to explain the process and set our mind at ease. We told Brett what we were looking for and he did an excellent job with finding us exactly what we wanted! My wife and I both highly recommend Brett to anyone looking tat o buy or sell a home. He was professional and friendly. Brett even provided assistance with helping our mortgage go more smoothly when we ran into a couple roadblocks. We couldnt have been more pleased with Bretts performance and we are so happy we chose him to assist us in our home buying journey.

ZillowVERIFIED I have recently worked with Brett in purchasing a rental investment properties. The experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Brett has been extremely accommodating and has made me feel as if I'm his only client. Not only is Brett an experienced Realtor with immense local knowledge, he is also in good standing with the PA Bar Association which can and has been useful, especially in the rental domain. If you're looking for a professional Realtor with good communication skills, an understanding of the local market, and will bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of, then I would highly recommend you give Brett a call. I look forward to working with Brett again in the very near future!

ZillowVERIFIED Brett was great to work with. Showed me properties I was interested in and none I wasnt. He was patient and when ended up buying a house that wasnt his listings he still went above and beyond to make the deal happen and keep the other agent moving. He coordinated a new septic installation and radon install which were complete prior to moving in. Brett was great!

ZillowVERIFIED WE had a great experience with Brett. WE happened to meet him when we asked to look at at home. Th conversation went well, and while, we did not buy that home, we decided that we wanted to continue working with Brett in looking for a home. We told him what we were looking for and over the course of several months we finally found a place that made sense for us. Brett was patient and understood our needs well. During the process of buying our home he was on top of everything, reaching out to us while also dealing with the bank. We were aboard for almost a month and felt good about it since Brett was on top of things. WE would work with Brett again and would recommend him to friends.

ZillowVERIFIED We engaged Brett after we had already identified a property we wished to purchase. Brett was quite helpful in discussing any concerns we expressed while considering our purchase and helped us negotiate a fair price. The process went smoothly and professionally. I would recommend and work with Brett again.

ZillowVERIFIED Brett was a pleasure to work with. He provided insight on homes when we asked and was helpful in getting a basic notion of how complicated a job might be to change something about the home (or fix a problem). He provided us with a lot of information about each home that we saw and reacted thoughtfully to our comments at showings. This streamlined the process so that we could skip homes that he knew we wouldn't really like, even if we'd seen them online. We went to one anyhow -- and he was right. We are new-ish to the area and his local knowledge was extremely helpful.

ZillowVERIFIED I work for a local attorney and have worked with Brett for a few years now on many closings. This is the first time that I've worked with him personally but I knew that he would be the man for the job. I've been looking for a house for probably a little over a year and have made changes to the search area and desired amenities more than a few times. Brett was always very accommodating to my constantly changing mind and was so helpful once we found the house that we decided to buy. He is very knowledgeable in real estate and will help you in any way he can.
