A Cedar Rapids native and CSUN alumnus, I launched my career in 2008 and built The Votroubek Real Estate Group with Skogman Realty into one of the most recognized teams in Iowa real estate. Community Involvement

Community involvement is something I take seriously, not as a marketing play but as a core value. I operate with a giver's gain mentality -- I genuinely believe that when you show up for people without expecting anything in return, it comes back to you tenfold. One of the ways I live that out here in North Scottsdale is through my sponsorship of Desert Canyon School in the Scottsdale Unified School District. My daughters go there, so it hits differently than writing a check to a cause you've never touched. These are my neighbors, my kids' teachers and classmates, the families I run into at the grocery store and the golf course. Supporting that school is my way of saying -- I'm not just here to sell homes, I'm here to be part of this community for the long haul

HOBBIES/INTEREST

Golf and entrepreneurship -- those are my two constants outside of real estate. I'm always either on the course or thinking about the next business opportunity

FAMILY

Family is my foundation. Carissa and I have built something really special together -- she's my partner in every sense of the word, in life and in the big decisions we make. We love exploring the restaurant scene here in Scottsdale, finding the next great spot together. Date nights are non-negotiable for us. And then there's my girls -- Karra, Kaydence, and Kollyns. I'm a full-on girl dad and I wear that proudly. Whatever they're involved in, I'm there. Their activities, their school events, cheering them on -- that's the best part of my week, every week. They're actually a big part of why Scottsdale feels like home now. Watching them grow up here, thrive here -- that's everything to me
