It was already sold, but the propertys realtors offered to meet us at a similar property to get a feel for our style and what we were looking for. Lets be honest. We are not like the Ritzs typical clients. We were not looking for a mini mansion, and we showed up to the meeting with bright purple and blue hair. Enter, Brad and Kelli. A ying-yang, married realtor team. One is shorter and bouncing all over the place. The other is taller and a little calmer. Ill leave it to you to meet them and see which is which. They balance each other out and each have a specialty in the team. Renting ended up not being the right decision for us, so they had the fun time of guiding us through a new build...during a pandemic. I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT build during a pandemic. Brad and Kelli were really a blessing during this process. Between being new to home building, shortages, covid restrictions, you name it, we were stressed beyond belief. Brad and Kelli were either emailing or calling us weekly to check in on us and see if we had questions about the process. Often, we had questions and or concerns regarding the process, but with each meeting, they helped us become more knowledgeable about all aspects of the build. (They got a new go-to restaurant out of our meetings.) They met us on site to do walkthroughs and meet with the many sales people we were passed through during the process. Also, do not mess with Brad. He is a feisty, angry Chihuahua with contractors when need be. We finally closed August 2021. Over a year of working with the Ritzs. We cannot thank them enough for their patience and guidance. I think we would have had a few bodies to bury in our new yard if it were not for them I think it is safe to say we have new lifelong friends out of the process.

They even provided us with a service to connect all of our utilities effortlessly before moving in. They continue to help us even after closing, and we now consider them friends. The Ritz Group is the new gold standard for real estate agents. I have already referred friends and will continue to refer anyone looking for a home in the DFW area to this amazing power-couple!

I was connected to Brad and Kelli from reaching out to Zillow about a house I loved, months before our actual house-search began. They followed up with me over the course of 4 months and provided so much useful information about the market, the schools in the area, process, expectations for our price range, etc. By the time we were pre-approved and ready to look for houses, we had no doubts that Brad and Kelli would be the best partner in searching for our first home. We were confident that we were in good hands with Brad and Kelli. We found our home in less than 2 weeks after beginning our house search. Brad and Kelli were patient to listen to our likes/dislikes, and adjusted our search as we narrowed down what we were looking for. Also, Brad has an inspectors eye, and was able to point out relevant features of a home that we wouldnt have seen ourselves at face-value. I tend to be more aware of the aesthetic of a home, and Brad and Kelli gave us deeper insight into the functionality of a home and the market overall. About 25 houses and 2 weeks later, we found it! We were so excited, and Brad and Kelli celebrated right alongside us. We were ready to make an offer, and they were very quick to put an air-tight offer together that put us in the best position in sellers market after looking at the comps for the neighborhood. We felt confident that our offer was competitive after all of our communication leading up to that moment with all of the data that Brad and Kelli provided. After the offer was accepted (YAY!), they referred us to an excellent inspector. He was incredibly thorough (almost too thorough! Ha!), but we were thankful that we would move into the home equipped with the knowledge of features to keep an eye on in the future, no matter how small it may seem! Brad was with the inspector during the entire inspection since he has that eye, and then helped communicate to us what might be a concern for the future. We had people from all-sides advocating for us and setting us up for success in our first home, and Brad and Kelli are to thank for that. Based on the inspectors findings, Brad and Kelli negotiated the amendment to the offer, and went to bat for us throughout the entire negotiations. Many times, Brad would follow up on negotiated repairs and check on the home, before we even ever thought to ask. They made the communication with all of the other parties so smooth so that it never felt overwhelming. The communication with the lender, title company, etc. was so seamless because they made it so. They were so conscious of wanting us to enjoy the process and not feel overwhelmed by all the moving parts since it was our first time buying a home. They also were able to provide us excellent recommendations for services in the area should we ever need it - insurance, utilities, etc. They walked every step of the way as if they were purchasing the house for themselves, and treated us like we were family and their top priority. It was such a smooth and almost-frictionless process due to their hard work behind the scenes. Once closing, they celebrated with us and were thrilled for us. We have had a few hiccups in our home in the last few weeks since moving in that were certainly unexpected, and no new homeowner wants to experience. We reached out to Brad and Kelli immediately asking for advice, and they have been phenomenal with recommendations and finding quick solutions for us.
