ZillowVERIFIED I first met with Keller Williams when I called about a house I wanted to look at. The house was listed through Asa Cox Homes and some where along the way the team switched to Keller Williams. I didn't realize when I made my first call that I would be selecting a real estate agent to deal with each property I was interested in. The process was all very new to me. If I had known better I would have chosen someone local. I'm very disappointed with the sale of my home and the purchase of my new home. I feel like my agent didn't try very hard to sell my home. All though it sold quickly (in under 60 days), I feel like there was very little effort put toward the sale and that it was only by pure luck that it actually sold. My agent was extremely friendly and accommodating to our busy schedule but the lack of experience was apparent in the entire process. I can't stress enough how friendly she was, and the whole family loved working with her. I understand that everyone must start somewhere, and we both learned a lot from our relationship. The purchase of my new home was the most stressful experience of my life. It was the final processes that turned into a nightmare. They pushed their affiliated title company on us even when we declined to use them which resulted in frustration and delayed the closing. I don't know for sure that our problems would have been avoided if we were able to use the title company we wanted, but I do know that they would have been more helpful in finding a solution. There were a lot of hoops we could have avoided jumping through in both the sale and the purchase that could have been avoided if we had gone with someone more familiar with the demographics of our area.
