When he initially contact me, he introduced himself and gave me some preliminary info about home buying as well as ask me about our home preference. During our search, Bill stayed in close communication with us and promptly scheduled showings. Along the way, he refined his listings and attempted to pair us with what we were looking for. He never acted as a ?salesman? and tried to push things we didn?t desire. In fact, while looking at homes, he would comment on things as if he was buying the home. I had spoken to a few other agents prior to him, but just from speaking to the other on the phone, they were immediate turn offs as most agent's I've met usually come off as aggressive in trying to get me to buy a house without first listening to my needs. Review We met Bill through Zillows recommendation and provided him a set of questions regarding selling our home and purchasing a new home in May 2020 (pandemic market). He was well-prepared and knowledgeable, and mostly importantly correct when it came to listing our home. We made more money than it listed for and we made the strongest offer to buy our desired well below home the listing price. He identifies the key negotiating points to make this possible, and gave us (his clients) updates with information to help us make the best decision for us. So in the end, we sold over our list price, made a contingent offer than successfully went through and bought our new home for far below list price. We also got had perks like staying in the listed home for 15 days after closing to buy us time to move in to the new place stress-free. Bill is a great communicator, knowledgeable realtor who has helped my family get the best deal we could get.

He really understands what's going on in the market on a week by week basis and can accurately value a home regardless of the listing price. Here's what really makes Bill stand out from other agents: When you walk into a home, some agents tell you to imagine having coffee in the breakfast nook and playing with your kids in the backyard. Bill walks into a house and immediately finds the water heater, the furnace, and the electrical panel. He inspects the roof and sticks his head under the sinks to determine if the house has copper or galvanized steel pipes. He then gives you the 'real' cost of the house so when you make an offer, you have a complete picture of the costs and benefits of the home. In other words, I never felt like Bill was trying to sell me a home. He simply presented the house in a factual way and offered solutions to identified problems. He is also patient. We made offers on a half dozen homes before we had an offer accepted. Bill showed us a home nearly every week for three months. And making an offer on a home is not a quick process - it takes a lot of time on his part to write an offer, keep in contact with the listing agent to follow the other competing offers, and write appropriate counter offers. He was on top of it late on Sunday nights and early on Monday mornings. Finally, Bill has a good grasp on strategy. He is personable and manages to create a relationship with listing agents, which gave us good insight into what the sellers were looking for. Though we failed to get several offers accepted, it was never a failure on Bills' part. He always knew what the seller was looking for (or likely looking for). Ultimately, we ended up in a dream home, and we should have paid much more for it. Maybe more importantly, Bill prevented us from buying a money pit and kept us upbeat in a tough Socal market. He did a fantastic job and his expertise and advice were invaluable. I can't thank him enough or more highly recommend his services.
