Review Back in November 2019, we sold our property but we didn't have a new place to go. By special arrangement, we were permitted to continue living in our old house as renters for six months. We wanted to get out of our old neighborhood quickly and move into a new one. Events seemed to conspire against that. People were focusing on the holidays. There was a lack of inventory at the time. And the coronavirus happened disturbing the usual process. It was even difficult for us to agree on an acceptable price point. Beverly Piccone was our real estate agent during this period. Beverly is a wonderful agent. She's always on top of things, accessible, not in your face, and trustable. Beverly alerted us to properties we might have missed or we might have wanted. We looked at many properties online and rejected most. So much so that we were beginning to doubt whether we could even make a decision. Beverly was extremely patient and respectful of our choices. Still, it was hard not to feel at low ebb. Beverly got us through it because she was always optimistic that we could find a place. She drew on her own experience by gently reminding us that properties are rarely perfect. You can still enjoy your new home even with its imperfections. Strategically, Beverly saw the big picture. She shepherded us through a narrow window of time so that the buying process and the leaving of our house as renters occurred within a three week period in May 2020. We feel fortunate about the outcome. Mediocrity is all too commonplace but Beverly Piccone stands tall among real estate agents. She's levelheaded, ethical, optimistic, and accessible. Review Beverly Piccone, a truly stellar real estate agent (and a fine person to boot), who was the listing agent for our Rockville townhouse that we had lived in for over 27 years, who patiently explained the forms and paperwork that we dealt with, who detailed our options in understandable terms, and who marketed our house to generate interest, was with us every step of the way. Admittedly, it was a very stressful period for us, but Beverlys calm and positive presence helped us get through it much more easily. With her, we never felt alone. We had two open houses and numerous individual appointments. After much interest, our house sold quickly. Beverly is still very much a part of the equation since shes helping us find a place to buy. We chose her after we had interviewed and met with a number of real estate agents in our townhouse. What impressed us (among many other things) with Beverly was that she had mentioned ethics in her presentation. Ethics has always been very important to us. Also, she didnt have any assistants who would have gotten in the way of person-to-person communication. Communications would always go to her directly. She struck us as being very experienced and knowledgeable about market conditions. Finally, she was not an in-your-face kind of agent. She is measured, sensible, and positive. After our meeting was finished and she walked out our front door, we knowingly looked at each other. We had concluded independently that she would be our agent. Beverly is extremely accessible by both phone and e-mail. She always gets back to you quickly. If you have suggestions, she is open to hearing them. She has a small group of contractors that she relies on. Being able to use them for repairs/updating was a big help. Also with Beverly, you dont have to feel like youve ceded control of all of your decision-making. Beverly reminded us at various points in the staging process that we were not obligated to agree to every suggestion. We agreed to many of the suggestions but not all. Review Beverly is the top of the top, the creme de la creme and I'm not exaggerating. Since buying our second house with her, we have referred everyone to her as a no-brainer. Both my parents, parents-in-law and brother-in-law have used her for their home purchases. We can't say enough good things about her but here goes; Beverly is intuitive, knows exactly which home is the one for you (as long as you give her enough to go on), almost having a sixth sense in many cases. She literally got my parents-in-law the house of their dreams within a week of them telling her they were going to 'start looking'. Review Beverly was my agent when I sold my house during a very difficult time in my life. I was not able to get the house prepped for sale and Beverly took over and attended to every detail. She is most professional and takes care of every little detail. She knows reasonable repairmen to take care of any maintenance issues. I was very fortunate to have had her as my realtor.
