ZillowVERIFIEDMy husband and myself recently purchased a home May 29th 2019. This was our first time buying a house Bev reassured us she would help us though the process and be our eyes and ears. I wish I could say she really did do that but she didn't. My husband and myself arrived to the home June 20th we had driven from Oregon we were so excited to finally have a home of our own but as soon as we opened the door our dreams turned into a nightmare. We contact Bev immediately we wanted her to see the state of the home but she couldn't be bothered to come out till the following day. Bev admitted that the house was not in same condition the day of final walk-through she said she would help us but she didnt. I'm writing this July 6th 2019 I have not heard from Bev for at least a week and she has offered no help resolving this issue. My husband and I were forced to go back to Oregon because the home was not in a livable state I've contacted many people who have told me that this issue is not being handled properly. I don't wish for Bev to contact me at this point she is no help she got her money and ran with it. My hope is that someone reads this and is aware that just because someone says they have your back doesn't make it true!!!!!!

I had a simple, successful closing on the perfect home and I am beyond thrilled with how smoothly the process has gone. I am a little sad, though, that I wont get to spend time exploring homes in Indianapolis with Bev. I am new to Indiana and have no family/friends in the area yet (well, besides Bev, now!) and was intimidated by the prospect of making such a huge decision on my own. But at no point during my search did I feel like I was alone aEUR" Bev treated me like family from the first conversation we had. She listened so intently to my wants and needs and kept them in mind throughout the entire process. Because there is so much good to say, Ill use a list to better organize this review: aEURc Communication: Bev was EXCELLENT about sending me homes to look at. Once she had my taste in mind, they were ALL homes I was curious to look at. If I sent her a list of houses that I was interested in, shed look them up and respond house-by-house with up-to-date information. And she didnt seem annoyed when I accidentally sent the same home 3,000 different times! I always had a text or an email back from her within 24 hours, but usually it was just within hours. aEURc Flexibility: Because I was commuting an hour in to look for homes (and after she got to know my style and expectations), Bev always offered to go and look at homes that we suspected wouldnt be on the market for long to aEURoepre-screenaEUR? so that I didnt drop everything and drive over for a house Id be disappointed in. aEURc Patience: I am a little picky and at no point did Bev make me feel like I needed to hurry up or settle on a home I wasnt completely in love with. I felt that she was just as invested in finding the perfect home for me. I feel like she treated me as if I was one of her own children in this way. aEURc Conscientious: I am a single college professor with A LOT going on. Bev quickly picked up on which of my weekdays were especially hectic and, in addition to simply only suggesting meeting on my more flexible days, she held up the fort for me with the other folks involved in the process and explained to them what my schedule looked like if I was out of pocket for a full day. aEURc Contacts: Home buyers and sellers arent the only ones who love Bev. Everyone loves Bev. And this means that everyone will love you, too. She communicates with the other realtor, lenders, inspectors, etc. with ease and it makes the process go as smoothly as it possibly could. aEURc Availability: She worked with my crazy schedule and met with me as frequently as needed. I never felt rushed while looking through houses and she helped me to look for the right things rather than simply focusing on aesthetics (which is so easy to fall into when looking through a home!). aEURc Friendliness/Sense of humor/ease to be around: Just in case the rest of this review somehow hasnt indicated that she is such a delight to spend time with: Bev is such a delight to spend time with! ZillowVERIFIEDI am not one to write glowing reviews. Bev, however, is an outstanding realtor. We were out of state and looking for a condo downtown to buy. We had very specific location and price range. She was patient for a year as we slowly looked and considered units. She knew our needs and was willing to be just as patient as needed and do whatever we needed. Once a unit in the building and location that we wanted came open she was there within hours for us. She took pictures, checked its status, organized an inspection, and made an immediate offer and kept close contact with the listing agent (there were other offers and she made sure ours stayed first in line). Our initial lender was very slow and Bev made sure the buyers did not lose patience. She also made a few phone calls and switched us to a new loan officer and bank which was then perfectly smooth and fast. We had never met Bev before this buying process. We grew to trust her enough that we bought the unit through her eyes and we signed documents to allow her to sign all closing documents for us. There is no detail or communication that will ever slip if you have Bev as your agent. We recommend you find Bev if you are in need of a realtor. You will be highly satisfied.
