ZillowVERIFIED TeamHam has been truly exceptional. I met Beth and Randy a few years ago at a time when I could not decide if the timing was right to put my home on the market. I did not put my home on the market but they were always available to answer any questions; including a last minute Friday evening conference call to answer a couple of questions that helped my kids through a first time home buyers process for a property located 2 states away. TeamHam sold a traditional home for me and helped me purchase a multi zoned property built in the 1800s. Their services included gathering information about the unique processes associated with purchasing this property. They added additional value by pointing me to solid options for purchasing related vendors. Procuring a mortgage and replacement value insurance for this property was challenging and would have been very expensive (if not impossible) had it not been for the established relationships between Beth/Randy and local mortgage/insurance leaders. I have tried to sell a home without a realtor; not only did I fail, it was chaotic and time consuming. Their promptness, knowledge of the market, strategic mindset, kindness and good energy makes this potentially chaotic process simple. When I somewhat unexpectedly had the opportunity to move to Texas for work, I immediately contacted Beth and Randy to help me sell the same home. When I contacted them about listing the property, they promptly responded and we set up a time to meet at my home. When we met, they had already done a lot of research on comparable properties and provided me with guidance on establishing a listing price. They brought a wonderful photographer out to the home to take pictures for the listing, I see home listings all the time with really poor pictures, this was not an issue with Beth and Randy. They really wanted to help me put the best possible foot forward as to generate a lot of traffic to the house. I had already moved to Texas when I accepted an offer on the house, so I went through the closing process as a remote seller. Randy was extremely helpful in serving as a point of contact with contractors who needed to come to the home to make repairs requested by the buyer. Both Beth and Randy are very knowledgeable about the Lawrence real estate market, different neighborhoods, schools, etc... I provided them with some guidance of what I was looking for, and they did a great job recommending properties that I should see. The one I ended up buying, I probably wouldn't have even looked at if it wasn't for their recommendation, and I ended up loving it. As a transplant to Lawrence from Arizona, it was great having realtors who were so familiar with the area. When it came down to writing an offer, the process went very smooth, and Randy was always in touch with me throughout the closing process. Honestly, I had e-mailed three different realtors in Lawrence and did not even get a reply from any of them!!! I was frustrated to say the least. I visited an open house in Lawrence and met Beth and Randy. We hit it off, so I asked them if they'd be willing to help me look for a property. I could not be happier. I really felt like I was a priority for them, not just another client. If you want knowledgeable realtors who will treat you like a person and not just another sale, then I highly recommend Beth and Randy.
