Joy went above and beyond in helping us to find and purchase and settle into our new home on Hilton Head Island. I had already attempted to work with 2 other realtors. When we came to town for a weekend to find a home, the realtor we were trying to work with got sick and was unable to help us. I looked online on a Friday evening and found the company she works for. The lady assisting us said, "Let's start with Joy!" I thought, "Yes. Let's!" Joy was available the next morning and patiently took us to several properties, listening carefully to our desires and needs. Although we visited multiple properties with her, we ended up buying the very first one she showed us! Since we lived out of town, Joy went to the house and filmed a thorough video for us to look over. She helped with recommendations for making the house more liveable, possibilities for maintaining and upgrading the home, giving us names and numbers for sub-contractors to help. She also went to the house with sub-contractors on our behalf to get pricing for possible home improvements. Joy helped with negotiations, coordinated with the bank loaning us money, and the attorney. She was always extremely professional and friendly as well! Though I had my share of "dumb" questions for her, she was always helpful and never treated me as though we did not know what we were doing. She volunteered to help in many ways that were above what I would consider expected for a realtor.

Joy helped us to select Sun City Hilton Head as our new home community during our initial visit. Months later with significant help from Joy we selected a house, went through the buying process with a smooth closing all remotely via calls, Face time, videos, emails and lot of pictures. Joy was available for questions and provided very timely answers for what was often daily calls and emails. We could not have picked a better realtor to look after our interests; we actually viewed the house for the first time the day before closing and could not be happier.
