I was looking for multi families to be owner occupied and as soon as one would hit the market Ben would send it to me if it fit my criteria. Since I was using FHA financing it made me even less competitive in a cash offer market and after having lost on one property to a cash offer he went out of his way to find a property for me reaching out to other clients of his who owned multis and found me a deal off market which was very advantageous for me being a first time homebuyer. On top getting the deal for me he was very helpful throughout the whole process with everything from lead inspections to giving me contacts for other services needed like a lawyer and home inspector. ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I recently bought our first house with Ben and he was everything we could have ever wanted in a realtor. He was honest, hardworking, and respectful. I never once felt like he was pushing a house on me just so he could make a sale, which was one of the most important things to me. He constantly kept me up to date and was sending me houses until we found the perfect house for our family. Another thing which was very important to me was that he made it feel like i was in control of the process and he was there to help me, not control it. What i mean by this is that if I wanted to make an offer, he would give me his opinion if he thought it was unrealistically low, but always made the offer I wanted. (I've heard stories of realtors who wouldn't even make offers if they didn't agree) We actually lost out on our house initially to a higher offer, but when that offer fell through we were lucky enough to get a second chance. From the first time around, where i was aloud to make my own mistake, it made me realize how locked in Ben was to the market and I listened to him more, which put us into our dream starter home. In hindsight I should have taken his advice earlier, but by him allowing me to control the process it actually gave me so much faith in him. I never wanted to have buyers remorse about paying too much, which I may have thought that the first bid process if he had forced my hand, instead I am beyond happy with the home and process.
