ZillowBen came alongside us as we navigated moving from OH to TN in the midst of a crazy market. He showed my husband numerous properties, even when they weren't quite what we wanted (at our request because we just had to make sure we weren't overlooking something), and even took us back to properties we knew were likely NOs (again at our request). It was a rough move in a lot of ways, but Ben guided us through the process every step of the way and set up the inspections and everything so we didn't have to. He helped us find a great home in the country with a view, just like we hoped for!

ZillowBen is the perfect Real Estate Agent for me! I say this as a very picky and critical person that has very high expectations walking in, and I can assure you that he exceeded every single one of them! For starters, Ben is very knowledgeable about the local Puget Sound area and beyond! The house we ended up purchasing was one that he found himself, and it really suited our needs: location, size, price, etc. Ben was very detailed throughout the process. The day we first met him he handed us a binder called his aEURoeTen Commandments.aEUR? It gives you an overview of what you should and shouldnt do doing during the process, so youre never in doubt. What I really loved about working with Ben is that he always tells you where his head is. After going and looking at properties to buy, he would shoot us an email with details on what he was thinking about the houses: whether it was fairly priced, if there was room for negotiation, if he thought it was a good fit for us, the general condition of said property, and a game plan on how he thought we should proceed with an offer. Ive never gotten this much detail from agents Ive worked with previously. He is one of the few agents I feel that looks beyond the comps for a property and looks at the whole picture, which is very much appreciated especially considering we bought our property with Ben during the COVID-19 pandemic! Ben is the only agent Ive met so far that Id trust to sell me a house with confidence during such a worldwide crisis! Ben also is great with coming up with creative ideas of how to get you into the property you want! Beyond just knowing about the properties themselves, he is good for bouncing off ideas for getting money for various things like paying your down payment and knows the benefits and drawbacks to different types of loans. He explains things in a way that made me feel comfortable and empowered. When I read things on the internet or talked to other agents, I generally felt overwhelmed, but it was the complete opposite experience for me with Ben. After getting an offer accepted, he stayed firmly by our side throughout the rest of the process. He called and emailed regularly to talk us through things each step of the way. He recommended a great inspector and was there with us during the inspection. He was also there with us when we had to sign documents with the title company and for every step in between. I can confidently say for all my future real estate needs, I'm turning to Ben, and I highly recommend anyone reading this review to do the same! :)
ZillowWorking with Ben was almost effortless. He was always available, any time we sent him a text about a house we got a response within 15 minutes. No matter what kind of home we looked at, he had plenty of helpful information on what it would look like if we bought it. A personal favorite of mine was any time we had a "problem" with a house, he was quick to give us a couple solutions. He is a great problem solver and that is huge when you are looking at buying a home. He knew everything about remodeling and how much work it would take and how much money it would cost us. We ended up purchasing a home from a woman who did not want to deal with real estate agents. She had a few bad experiences which had us nervous. Thankfully when she met Ben she really liked him! She thought he was kind, respectful and loved that he was not pushy with her. Our overall experience with Ben was just about perfect! This was the first home we ever bought and I still wonder how we got so lucky to find Ben. He's the type of agent that was a great match for us. His knowledge and humbleness was comforting in a stressful time and we are forever grateful to have worked with him. I would and already have recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home.

Ben moved fast to correct issues that arose close to and after closing day that were caused by the seller. Always kept me informed and was extremely patient in explaining the process every step of the way. Never doubted that Ben had my best interests in mind.

ZillowBen went above and beyond in the recent purchase of my new home. I was traveling internationally when the appraisal came in lower than expected. Ben was the conduit between me, the sellers, and my mortgage broker. The deal was definitely in jeopardy of falling apart, but thanks to Ben and his experience everything fell into place so that I could close immediately after returning from vacation.

ZillowI met Ben from his Meetup group on real estate investing in Kirkland. When I decided to pull the trigger and begin my first home purchase, Ben was the right choice. Generally, Ben specializes in North King and Snohomish Counties, but when I was contemplating on moving south (Renton/Des Moines/Kent/etc.), he was quickly able to adapt and find properties that fit my change in direction. When it came to final closing, and I had to have a new, more stringent appraisal from FHA compared to VA. We found I would need to get a 5 year roofing certification, in which most roofing companies are unwilling to give. Ben was able to negotiate a deal for myself and the Roofing company to allow both parties to benefit from the transaction. This allowed us to close on the deadline and prevented the possible loss of the Short Sale. I highly recommend him.

ZillowI contacted Ben in Spring 2014. We met within a few day of our initial contact. Ben came prepared, and had on his listening ears. He was open, honest and presented a fair price for the property. I wasn't quite ready to place the property on the market so we put together a plan of attack to be in the market by mid-July. Unfortunately due to injury that timeframe lengthened but Ben continued to be persistent and maintained contact with me throughout the summer and on into fall without seeming to be pushy or over-bearing. When it was time to place the property on the market Ben swung into action...and within 24 hours we had an offer which we accepted. Unfortunately the buyer pulled out of the deal at the last minute, and we had to start over. Again Ben swung into action and assured me there would be more offers...and yes, three more. Ben successfully negotiated the final deal and we closed! Overall -- a great experience as Ben went above and beyond in facilitating the deal. I will recommend Ben to anyone I know who is thinking about selling or buying.

This process ended up extending over the course of a year and a half during which time I rented the condo. When it was time to list again Ben went way above and beyond the course of duty by making suggestions for improvements that would make the condo more saleable and then getting bids for work and personally coordinating the repairs. I never would have been able to manage all those tasks long distance.
