ZillowVERIFIED If I can give him a 10 star I would. We are so fortunate to have found Benjamin Hickman. Hes been there every step of the way. He helped us sell our first home and helped us buy our new home. He always answered every calls or email no matter what time of day or night it was. His knowledge, professionalism, honesty and work ethic are much appreciated and respected. We now consider Ben a friend and would recommend him to anyone that is searching for a new home.

ZillowVERIFIED We approached Ben in early 2021 to help us find a home in the Gurnee-Wadsworth area. In our very first conversation it was clear he knows what hes doing, and we decided to move forward. The current market is crazy and competitive, and Ben was always extremely responsive to our questions and requests. He set up showings very quickly, so we could see a house pretty much as soon as we could get off work aEUR" and speed is of the essence in this game.We didnt know anything about home ownership, so Bens deep knowledge about houses (how things work, what to look out for, and so on) was crucial. He knows a great deal about house values, and gave excellent advice about what a house is really worth aEUR" advice that time and again was borne out by the eventual sale prices of the various houses we saw.Ben is very professional, knowledgeable, and just a friendly guy whos fun to talk to, so he made this whole experience a lot less stressful than it might have been. In the end we found a great house, and will readily recommend Ben to anyone needing an agent in the area.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Ben was the best decision we made in the home buying process. Ben is extremely flexible with your schedule and he knows the area very well. Communicative, very responsive with phone and text, and an easy going personality. We house hunted with him every weekend for three months and we got to know each other really well, to the point that he would ask us by name how our family members were doing and Vice versa. Two weeks ago and three months after we moved into our house, Ben called me just to catch up and see how we were doing. If you are looking for a reliable person who will be honest and who truly looks out for YOUR best interest, pick Ben Hickman. I will recommend him to everyone in the area and I will absolutely work with him again in the future!

ZillowVERIFIED We found Ben through the Zillow portal when we were interested in setting up a video tour of a home in Skokie. Ben was accomodating during Covid and was able to do a walk-through video tour for us. Right away we were impressed with Ben's ability to spot red flags in the home that we as first time buyers might not have noticed. The best part about working with Ben is his communication. He was always reachable and followed up same day. We appreciated his honesty and direct approach and definitely would recommend him to first time buyers especially. We bought our first home within 30 days of meeting Ben.

ZillowVERIFIED Interviewed multiple agents as part of the process and decided to go with Ben. Main point was the number of homes that Ben had recently sold. Got multiple full price offers on first weekend, with one of them wanting to close in 30 days. It doesn't get much better then that.

ZillowVERIFIED Ben did a great job listening to what we wanted in a house and finding us listings that matched our criteria. He was available to show us houses when it was convenient to our schedule. He also helped us sell our home and did so quickly and made it as stress free as possible juggling the purchase and sale of a home. I would recommend Ben to both list and find your next home.

ZillowVERIFIED Ben did a wonderful job for us. He personally found the buyer for our home by holding open house on a somewhat regular basis, in other words by going the extra mile. Although it is difficult to for most to be a dual agent, Ben was very professional and ethical in that situation. As with most home sales things did not go as planned, but he assisted in holding the deal together and was very easy to work with. He is definitely THE agent we world recommend to anyone who is interested in selling or buying real estate in our local area.

ZillowVERIFIED Ben was incredible! He took the time to learn about our wants in a home and was very patient when it took the time to find the home of our dreams. We had a very specific list of things we were looking for in a home and Ben nailed each one as if it were a walk in the park. He also stayed in touch to make sure we didn't have any new questions along the way and to confirm we were on the right track to getting the home of our dreams. We could not be more pleased with our experience with him!

ZillowVERIFIED Ben was everything we were looking for in a realtor. For a first time home buyer, he made the whole experience enjoyable and so easy. He took care of everything, such as finding the perfect home, and I do mean perfect, to the property inspector and financial institution for financing the home. Ben still keeps in touch to check on our well being and I consider Ben a good friend.
