ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed 3 realtors before choosing Barry. He came very prepared w/an entire folder filled w/information made exclusively for us & the lake home we were selling. He was ready for his interview & for any & all questions we might have had for him that day. We chose Barry to list our lake home & as expected, he was ready to get the listing photographed & to get a drone video done as soon as we told him we were ready. It was all done on a beautiful, late summer day & the photographs & video turned out great! Barry was also ready to have a Sunday open house within the firsts few weeks which garnered a lot of interest in possible buyers. We had several more open houses which eventually resulted in having a buyer make an offer. Barry took control of handling this buyer & their realtor & was constantly in touch w/us during this process. He made himself available at all times in order to get this deal done. He worked diligently as the buyer had questions that if he couldnt handle, he would call & involve us w/every detail along the way. Once we had an accepted offer, Barry, again, went back to work scheduling any work that needed to be done & also offered his reliable contacts to do anything that was needed. It was so easy to have Barry handle everything as he felt it was his job & he proved that fact to us. We felt completely at ease w/leaving so much of the work to him & to involve us as needed. This entire transaction had to be completed w/us as the sellers being out of state. Barry kept us apprised all along the way making this sale as easy as possible. We feel he did an outstanding job for us & would highly recommend Barry & his services. He knows Lake Mills, WI as intimately as anyone who lives there which was another reason we chose him. Then we came across Barry Luce, and knew within 5 minutes that he would sell our home for us. His manner is very easy going, very laid back, easy to talk to. He follows through with what he says he will do. Barry hired a professional photographer to capture the best pictures of our home, and we were thrilled with the results. He also brought in a professional (no charge) stager, to help us set the right tone for the open house. He is very organized. Now we have our 2nd home to sell soon, and we will definitely be hiring Barry to sell it for us. I highly recommend him to anyone that want a professional realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED There are two very important views for me with this review on Barry Luce and RE/MAX. How he handled business professionally and then also his personality while doing so.A little background, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place with my childhood home after the very unexpected death of my father, and mother just a year beforehand. I had no idea what to do, where to go, or how to get there. This is where Barry came in. Upon a referral, Barry stopped over and took a general look at the property, heard my story, and stated in a relaxed manner that he wanted to work directly with me to help me through this process. Throughout the entirety, Barry always made time to help me understand whatever was going on with paperwork, the expected timeframe, what unexpected little setbacks to prepare for, and everything in between. Ive learned that nothing with real estate is simple nor quick, but Barry navigated everything with confidence, reassurance, and an experienced sense of ease. In the end, he was spot on with his projections. The property was sold for exactly what we were looking for and within his estimated timeframe. From a business standpoint, I couldnt have asked for a better and more experienced realtor/broker.Onto Barry as a person. After dealing with several dishonest individuals and companies claiming to act on my best interest, I was very hesitant to put full faith into one person. He appeared genuine, but then again so did so many of those others. What I soon learned though, was that Barry is an outlier in this world. Hes been one of the most upfront, honest, caring, and helpful individuals that I have worked with. The people he recommended for help with extensive yard work, etc fall into that category as well. He really cared about how I felt and how I was doing throughout this process. He could have nudged for a quicker sale and smaller offered amount, but he didnt. He pushed on to make sure I received the most while the difference for him would have been minuscule in the terms of his compensation and getting another property marked off as aEURoesoldaEUR?.In short, I would recommend Barry and his team in a heartbeat to anyone that I care about. Yes, everyone is in aEURoebusinessaEUR? to make money and nothing ever comes for free, but Barry and his team are there to make sure that this business is done in your best interest. As strange as it may sound, I'm honestly going to miss working with Barry. He took me under his wing almost as an extended family member and provided encouragement and humor related to other aspects of my life as well.
