Given that my father's home was over 60 years old it needed some updating. Barry was able to recommend some quick, easy, and affordable updates to the home to modernize it. Most of the updates we could do ourselves, but the ones we either couldn't do or didn't have time to do, Barry not only found a contractor for us, but scheduled and managed the work for us. This was extremely helpful for us given everything we were dealing with at the time. Not only did Barry sell our house in the first weekend, but we got multiple offers over the asking price. ZillowVERIFIED In short, Barry worked a real-estate miracle for me. I had 30 days to get my house on the market and sold. To compound things, it needed paint and a number of other repairs and I travel most weeks for work. Barry told me he could handle it and he did. He has a great network of service providers (painters, handymen, plumbers, stagers, you name it...) that were all at the ready to get my house on the market. Not only did Barry identify the right people to get the job done, he also oversaw the work and coordinated and managed activities while I was traveling for work. He also did a great job of communicating with me about what was happening on an almost daily basis. In parallel, to the "mini-flip" activities, Barry was doing his homework to set a price that maximized the return on my investment while also ensuring a quick sale. He was able to get me a written offer within 72 hours of going on the market and I was able to hit my closing deadline. ZillowVERIFIED Barry is honest and extremely educated about the housing market. Which is a hard combination to find in a real estate agent. I've used Barry for 3 transactions. The first one he spent an incredible amount of time educating me about the market as I was new to denver. I was shocked at how much there is to know about housing and how little factors that I thought were irrelevant had a dramatic effect on the price. If I hadn't had such a informed agent like Barry, I would have taken the recommendation of some agent that was just trying to push property and over paid for an inferior house. In our situation, he actually recruited another realtor that lived closer to our home to assist us with selling the house faster and responding to local traffic more effectively. Who splits their commissions on the behalf of the client? Well, Barry did. He also had three separate open houses, each on a Saturday and Sunday. Each weekend he took time to promote the home. This is my second home I've sold through him and each one sold and closed within 7 weeks during the worst times of the year to sell a home. I believe it was his market positioning, networking with other realtors, and constant promoting on multiple websites that made the difference.
