ZillowVERIFIED We PCSed here from North Carolina in mid-October 2019 and committed to buying a house two weeks before we moved.My wife flew to KY and looked at the house. When first looking at the house she asked about the big ugly wood advertising sign in the front yard. and was told we could remove it after we own the place. I'm a 3D sign maker so it was important to me. They said they could negotiate an early entree if needed because the owner of E town reality and the seller had been friends for 25 years. Two weeks before our closing I asked our realtor about early entry negotiations and eventually, he offered to find me and kill me. Everyone told me to stop at that point and call the police but I just laughed it off.My wife and I had been living in our RV at a campground with a dog, rabbit and a bird for 2 weeks to get this house and I just wanted it over. After our realtor called and threatened me he called my wife and told her to "shut me up"My wife then told our realtor, when this was over we would write a review that reflects the experience we had with E town reality.I'm guessing they were never going to let us in the house early because what if I cut the sign down and get in trouble before closing. Three weeks into this sale at the closing table, in the title search office we still had not been told about the title search. At that point, I asked about the sign again and the listing agent of E town reality said to cut it down. The seller then said it was a verbal contract and there were no easements. The title office said since nothing was in writing, I could get rid of it.At that point, the owner of e town reality went as far as to say we could sell advertising on the sign ourselves and make money. Most likely a Felony. Less than two weeks after closing I contacted a surveyor for a dog fence. In the first phone call, I told him I did not want to pay to locate the sign and that I would cut it down before he surveyed. The next day he emailed me and said that he found an easement on file for the sign and DON'T CUT THE SIGN DOWN.I didn't email him back so he called to warn me. I thought the surveyor was lying to me and I hung up on him.My first thought was the surveyor was friends with the guy who owned the sign. ? I knew someone had to be lying for this to be happening, I just was not sure who at that time. I saved the email he sent me. I called the title search office and told them what the surveyor told me and initially, they apologized for the "mistake" ? three times and saying "we missed it" but had to get off the phone to call their lawyer.Like a fool, I thought the call to the lawyer was to help me.The title service called the next day and said it wasn't their job to tell us about the easement. I told him I asked about the easement at the closing table in his building. I waited for a reply and he said: "who did your closing"? I told him and he said the person that did our closing for him, was a "contract employee" and did not work for them. I replied that she did not work for me. I then asked him if I needed a lawyer and he said "go ahead and get you a lawyer buddy" and hung up on me. The seller cried the whole time she sat at the closing table. The whole time.It was odd.Then out of the blue, the owner of E town reality said she was crying over the sale of her house. The seller, E town reality and the Bluegrass title search person all told my Wife and myself " There are no recorded easements you can cut the sign down" I now know, cutting the sign down would have been a felony act. They had to of worked out what they were going to say at the closing table for this to happen the way it did. If one of them told the truth none of it would have worked.The seller's signature is on the 70-year easement. They could have told us about the title defect before we ever left North Carolina.Bluegrass title service sent us our deed in the mail and it still had no mention of the easement. No property description at all.We left a review for E town before we found out about the easement trick and they were able to get it taken down.The next day our realtor called my wife a 3AM. She didn't answer but saved a screenshot. These are two Elizabethtown businesses working together to withhold information from us, that we are asking for, in order to sell us a house. My wife and I could have never done this to anyone. The house we just moved from we bought from a friend and we fought with the neighbors for ten years over a driveway easement. We told them about it at the closing table while we were being tricked into another easement.E town reality showed my wife other houses for sale. If we had been told about the easement we would have bought one of them.The way they did it makes me think we are not the first.Barry, the owner E town reality was the listing agent and Nick was our realtor. Nick works for E town reality.

ZillowVERIFIED Shirley Carr is a dedicated and patient realtor. We started our home buying process in the FT Knox area in early February from California. She listened to what we were looking for and picked a line up of houses for us to look at. We traveled to the area in late March for a week; during that time, she spent all day everyday letting us drag her from house to house. When we finally found the one we wanted, she advised us during negotiations and worked to get the deal we were comfortable with. Since we had to travel back to California, Shirley continued to be our representative as corrections were done on the home. She ensured the contract requirements were being fulfilled and truly put our minds at ease. After the closing, she continued to help us here and there until we were able to make the move.She is truly one of a kind and I wholeheartedly give her my 5 stars.

ZillowVERIFIED I was planning a move across the states and came across a house on zillow in which the response led me straight to Tammy. She immediately responded despite it being a late night. I explained how I wanted to buy a house but everything would need to done before I physically got in KY. We talked a little over an hour (which was a reoccuring thing in which I appreciated every time as shes very helpful and detailed), everything from the lending process in which she suggeated an amazing lender to me to the surrounding areas to jobs and even some personal examples she shared about her home buying experience. She did thorough walk throughs of the houses we chose all via Facetime Video. She went over every little detail and even critiqued the smallest of problems in case it would be a red flag for us. When it came to putting in an offer, she immediately got on to the negotiation. What I asked for wasnt accepted immediately but ahe reassured me to give it time and shes positive she can make it happen. And she did! Once we landed in KY she met up with us and did another walk through. Not only did she suggest a great lender in the beginning but also one of the fastest inspectors who had an eye for details, after that came back more negotiation took place and she was on the ball, all hours of the night making things happen! I have since referred others to her and shes done nothing but live up to mone and their expectations.

ZillowVERIFIED Shirley Carr did a great job for me. I was living in North Carolina, looking to move to Kentucky for cheaper cost of living. Shirley guided me to a loan officer and proceed to help me along the way. Shirley videoed and downloaded the video for me so I can get a look at inside and outside of house while I was in NC. She answered all my questions and concerns with respect. She drove a 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip after settlement to make sure everything was ok and kept check on me from time to time because I was new in the area which I appreciated.
