Review I have nothing but the highest praise for Barbara Thomas of Remax Realty of Boone, NC. I do not live in the Boone area where the property l was selling was located and therefore not familiar with service providers. Barbara was most helpful in helping secure the services needed to ready my property to receive the highest selling price. She went above and beyond in all her interactions with me and the purchaser of my property. Barbara is the best and anymore would definitely benefit from choosing her to handle any real estate transactions.Carolyn LambStatesville, NC

Review Barbara was instrumental in us finding a cabin that we love in the mountains. She was very knowledgeable about the local market, and willing to work around our schedule to show us listings. Since we do not live in the area, she was amazing in taking care of everything locally since we could not. Barbara made the process so easy. She even gave us a great list of local contractors which we used to have work done. I would highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking to buy in the High Country.

Review Barbara provided us with exceptional service finding and buying a home. We moved from out of state, and she really helped guide us to the best location for our needs. She went above and beyond to find the perfect fit for us, and helped us negotiate exactly what we wanted. We started looking for a home at the beginning of the holiday season, and despite it being a very difficult time to find a home, she worked with us daily to try and find us the perfect home. My two small kids always forward to spending time with Barbara too! All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience. I couldnt recommend Barbara highly enough!

She responded quickly to my questions and researched background information on the properties I was interested in way beyond my expectations. Review Selling a house from afar is no easy task, unless you have Barbara looking out for you. We lost track of the scores of tasks and details that she took charge of, making what could have been a long frustrating process into a stress free experience. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her, and I would certainly recommend her to both buyers and sellers in Northwest North Carolina.

Review I have worked with a half dozen or more realtors and Barbara was the best. She listened to our concerns, took the time to learn all about the house so she could highlight the best things about the property. She was very easy to reach by email and phone and responded quickly. The sale was a difficult one to say the least and Barbara went above and beyond in negotiating. She was extremely knowledgable and ethical in her decisions which gave me much peace of mind in leaving the sale in her hands.

Review If you are looking for a realtor with integrity and years of knowledge in the real estate industry, Barbara Thomas is the one for you. She helped me find a beautiful log cabin home in the NC Mountains in 2005. Barbara went above and beyond her duties to communicate with me, especially because I lived 2 and one half hours away. Then in 2014, I decided to put this house on the market. I would not have considered calling anyone but Barbara Thomas. At a time when the market was not that great, Barbara took extra steps to promote the log cabin home and made sure that everything was in perfect order. It sold in 2015 to the perfect buyers from Louisiana. They couldn't be happier with this house. Barbara Thomas made an impression on me TWICE buying and selling in the NC Mountains. You will love her too!

Review Barbara was amazing our process of finding the right home to purchase. She was very patient, encouraging and went the extra miles with research to answer all out questions, and educate us beyond what we were capable of as first time home buyers. Barbara's enthusiasm for her work and getting to know us and our needs as a family was uplifting. She listened well, worked hard to arrange home viewings, advocated strongly for us in the buying process and is a very experienced realtor. The Boone Remax office presented the business in genuine care, kindness and integrity. Barbara is highly recommended to help find your perfect mountain home! Thank you Barbara!

Review Barbara Thomas is an awesome real estate agent. My wife and I wanted to buy a home and used Zillow to begin our search. We read a review that stated that Barbara had shown a couple at least 100 houses in their search and that she never gives up on finding the right one. That review was exactly right, and for that we are thankful. She was willing to show us any home, no matter what to help us clarify what we wanted in a house. We looked for about 6 months of constant searching, visiting, researching and she never gave up on us. She was always available to assist with all questions we had and walked us through a thorough inspection process that led to our finding the most beautiful home at a price that we can afford. She also helped us to contact an excellent mortgage company's agent that she knew would get the job done that managed our complex loan with efficiency and effectiveness. There were a number of professionals that we may not have had the pleasure of working with without her contacts in the real estate community. Working with Barbara Thomas was an enjoyable and supportive experience that my wife and I both appreciated as we sifted through all of the complexity of home buying for the first time. We were easily able to find our way as she patiently guided us along the journey of visiting every home we wanted to see and more. Without her assistance, I don't know what we would have done as first time home buyers with no real experience in real estate. We found that her connections in the real estate community and knowledge of the area are highly valuable. She will also make you immediately aware of any downside that she observes in a house so that you don't make a mistake buying a home that you won't enjoy - An excellent advantage to have an agent that is truly on your side. Thank you Barbara for helping us to find the home that we love and for being there to assist us in the journey. :)
