ZillowVERIFIEDI originally contacted Barbara through Zillow because of her high ratings and recent sales, but I was greatly disappointed. After the initial contact on the site, I received a generic email response asking questions to get additional details about our real estate needs. I was perfectly fine with this and actually thought it was a great idea. I answered the questions, including that we were not yet working with a realtor and also explained our flexible timeline to purchase our first home. The only response I received from Barbara (word for word) was, "If you are working with a REALTOR I am sure your realtor will assist." I stared at this response for a few seconds in shock. I thought that maybe I had accidentally said that we WERE working with a realtor, but that was not the case. Maybe she misread my email, but even so, there are a ton of other (nice) ways to go about responding. I don't understand what I did/said to get such a disrespectful response from a "professional" who claims to love what she does, but I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere.
