ZillowVERIFIED Barbara was a lovely realtor. This was my first home and she helped me at every step of the way from looking at houses to sitting at the closing. As a realtor she was firm when I needed her to be firm, she protected me from a lot of anxiety, and answered all of my questions. She was very available, and when she couldn't be (rare), she let me know when she would get back to me (and she always did). She also shared her opinions and always had good reasoning behind them. We looked at a few house that on the surface seemed good, but as we looked deeper, she knew the questions to ask the other realtor to help me realize it wasn't a good option for me. Every realtor I talked to (at open houses) spoke highly of her. It quickly became clear that she wasn't a realtor simply for the money. She was genuinely interested in helping me find a home that fit our needs. At one point I asked, "Am I getting a steal on this house?" and she said, "No, but it is fair, and that can be hard to find here." I really appreciate her honesty. Even after the sale she has checked in a few times. I feel confident we will stay in touch. I would strongly recommend Barbara to my friends and family. She was especially good for me as a first time buyer.

ZillowVERIFIED I met Barbara 10 years ago when I was living in Virginia and wanted to buy a house in RI. I emailed 4 agents and Barbara called me right back. After several weeks of Barbara sending me listings to look at, and talking on the phone to learn about what I was looking for, I made the trip to look at properties in person. We ended up spending an entire day together, at the end of which I made an offer on a house which was accepted. Throughout the process, Barbara offered good advice, steered me away from potential problems, and put my needs first. 2 years later when I needed to find a tenant, Barbara vetted prospects and found a person who stayed in the house for the next 8 years. When it was time to sell the house, it was a no brainer to call Barbara, and I have no doubt that it was her expertise that made the process go so well. She was unflinching in making astute suggestions about work that needed to be done to get the house ready to sell, and her knowledge of local contractors, painters, plumbers, etc was essential, particularly since I was out of state and couldn't supervise the work. Barbara's suggestion that I stage the house was dead on. Barbara's knowledge of the market, wisdom, patience, and sense of humor enabled me to negotiate my way through what could have really been a difficult process. Whether a buyer or a seller, if you are lucky enough to work with Barbara, you will have a great experience! I could not possibly recommend her more highly.

We never thought we would buy a condo and the one she steered us to really is not condo in feeling at all and on first sight, we knew we had found the right place. In hindsight, Barbara seemed to know what we wanted more than we did! Barbara persevered through a complex negotiation and eventual closing as we also had to sell our house in Boston and that took time.

At this time we were especially impressed with how friendly and easy she is to talk to as well as how knowledgeable she is about the process of buying and selling a house. One of her first recomendations was to have a pre-inspection prior to the listing. Having done this proved to be extremely beneficial as we were able to identify and correct a number of issues that might have hindered the sale of the property. Barbara also recommended excellent people to help us resolve these issues. Her negotiation skills were top notch as she guided us through this process without a single hitch. In addition, whenever we had a question, Barbara got back to us right away, usually within the hour. This is the fifth house we've bought or sold, and this has been the smoothest, easiest transaction we have had. I strongly recommend Barbara to anyone interested in buying or selling a property.
