ZillowVERIFIED You cant find a better real estate agent than Barbara! Barb helped us buy our home when we moved to Canonsburg and then sell it when relocating to another state. The whole process both times went so smoothly, and we credit the knowledge and expertise of Barb and her team! Barbara cares about her clients, not just as clients but as people. She is a wonderful person and a joy to know. It is hard to list all the good things when dealing with the best. Thanks Barb and team!

ZillowVERIFIED I cannot recommend Barb and her team enough! She helped us buy our home in Pittsburgh when we moved from Texas in 2016 and was patient and helpful as we searched for the right home from afar. Her knowledge of the area was unparalleled. Then, 5 years later, she helped us sell that house when we were relocating out of state. Barb thought of every detail and was just amazing throughout the process- from preparing for listing photos, making sure the listing was just right, arranging for maximum number of showings in a short amount of time, and helping us navigate and negotiate multiple offers. She is professional, thorough, great under pressure, and always has her clients best interests in mind. I recommend Barb wholeheartedly and would employ her services again if we were ever to return to the area.

ZillowVERIFIED Barb helped my daughter and I to buy her home around 15 yrs ago and to recently sell my brother's home. I looked Barb up when it came time to sell my brother's property because of the great experience I had with her the first time. She was very easy to work with and a big help in each case.

ZillowVERIFIED Barbara is the most professional real estate agent we have worked with! We had two other agents that were unsuccessful in selling our house before finding Barbara, so we were so glad when we found her. Everything about her process is easy, streamlined, and you get her team of people working with you to help in your end goal. Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she became very close with our family because of her kind and caring personality. Don't waste your time looking at anyone else. This agent is outstanding!

ZillowVERIFIED Kim was a delight to work with: friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, and responsive! Kim took all of the time that my wife and I needed to explain all of the parts of the home buying and home selling processes and answered each of my many questions. When it came time to buy a house, Kim was able to recommend reliable inspection personnel. When it was time to sell, Kim went out of our way to make our house look amazing online--by the time she was done, even *I* wanted to buy our old house. :) Finally, and this is something I didn't have an appreciation for at first, but Kim is part of a local team of agents, so in the few instances that she could not help us personally due to a previous obligation, another helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly member of the Barbara Baker team came out to help us. Thanks, Doug and Jeff!

ZillowVERIFIED From the very first meeting we felt very comfortable with Barbara. No thought or idea was too crazy that she couldn't explain or rationalize to us in helping us figure what our strategy was going to be. We felt she always had our best interest at heart as we made decisions and moved through the process of selling our home. We had a few issues that needed to be dealt with in completing the sale that she either walked us through or dealt with the third parties to make sure whatever needed to be done, got done in a timely fashion. We were very impressed with her and her teams follow up and always appreciated knowing where things stood throughout the process. We would strongly encourage anyone that is starting this process to consider talking to Barbara.

ZillowVERIFIED I was referred to Jeff by a coworker. Her referral went a little like this...aEUR?I have never purchased a house with Jeff, but I met him at a BBQ and just knew right away he was good at his job bc he was so passionate about it!aEUR? Well, my coworker hit the nail on the head. Jeff worked tirelessly to get us the house that we had dreamed of, at a price that worked for our family. He made himself 100% available to us, was flexible with scheduling, and answered all of my inquiries very quickly. He advocated for us. My husband immediately trusted Jeff bc he gave you his honest opinion, regardless of what was in it for him. If you have made it this far in my review, you should probably go ahead and work with Jeff. Happy house hunting!

ZillowVERIFIED Barb was both our selling and buying a agent.Selling - Barb was very helpful in staging suggestions to get our home sold at the price we targeted. Additionally, Barb had a solid strategy for ensuring consistent and a high level of foot traffic. Definitely a good selling agent.Buying - Barb was helpful, attentive, and responsive during this process at allowed us to lead/control the process. My wife was adamant about a particular house which was listed far out of our price range (and out of actual market value) but this is the house we ended up getting. What might improve - I don't think we leveraged Barb as well as we could have when negotiating our purchase. After all was said and done, Barb mentioned to us that she thought we were soft negotiators. While I appreciate Barb deferring to our lead, I would have benefited from her providing real-time feedback on alternates to our default approach.

ZillowVERIFIED My house was on the market for 8 months without any serious offers. I decided to switch to Barbara based on her experience and I was very grateful I made that decision. Barbara assessed my home and suggested small changes such as paint colors, removing bed frame to make room look bigger, etc. Not only did she suggest the changes but she scheduled estimates for the work and got really good prices. The moment she took over the selling process, I had no more stress. Within two weeks she had the house relisted and we got an offer in the first weekend it was on the market!! I can not thank her enough for her expertise and would highly recommend to anyone trying to sell their home. Thanks again Barbara!

ZillowVERIFIED 25 years ago, my husband and I along with our 2 small children relocated to Pittsburgh. We were so fortunate to be connected with Barb, whose guidance resulted in us finding the perfect town for our family and a wonderful home. As empty nesters, we decided to move back east and did not hesitate to call Barb. Her suggestions regarding how to prepare our home in advance of putting it on the market were spot on. Within one week after the open house, we received an offer and signed a contract. As the process moved forward, we always felt that Barbs expertise and her teams excellent responsiveness would get us through the various issues that came up. Our confidence in Barb was well placed and we closed on the house 2 months after the open house. We could not have asked for a better experience and outcome.

He knows a lot about the house problems or how to fix the issues, I can say he knows even better than many contractor that I seen, and defiantly better than many agents, I seen many agents, that I can say most of them dont know even very minor things about the house. so I definitely recommend him.

She and Barbara Baker were extremely helpful, organized, knowledgeable, professional and responsive. My house was priced accurately and received multiple offers within the first 24 hours of its showing. The communication I received throughout the entire process was excellent and also respectful. ZillowVERIFIED Very disappointing experience. Barbara is a lovely and charming lady who came to us with great reviews. We had numerous showings and several offers, but she could never close the deal leaving us very frustrated. When things slowed down we looked to her for guidance, but never got it. We often had the feeling she was too busy with her other clients and listings to develop a strategy to sell our place. We are going to try again with a different realtor and feel our time with Barbara was pretty much for naught.

ZillowVERIFIED Barbara was great in the home buying process. I am a first time home buyer and purchased a home without having lived in the Pittsburgh area. She made herself available whenever needed and spent multiple hours on the phone prior to me arriving to Pittsburgh. ZillowVERIFIED Barb has been, without a doubt, a life saver for my husband and I. We were moving to the South Hills area in Pittsburgh, and Barb came highly recommended from family members. She made herself available to us nearly 24/7, not only to discuss/show house listings, but also walking us through the steps associated with the purchase. As first time home buyers, there was a lot that we needed to learn, and Barb?s experience shines. Walking through various listings, she pointed out important areas to look at, hidden ?surprises? that could be in store, and even helped us think about long term issues. She is extremely well-versed in the neighborhoods and amenities associated, and I absolutely loved her honesty and patience with us. During negotiations, Barb?s graceful and elegant demeanor gave way to being a staunch and strong advocate for us as buyers. She continued to walk us through the purchasing steps as well as recommending high quality inspectors and other services in the area that she has had both personal and professional experience with. If you are looking to buy a house in the Pittsburgh area, Barb is a step above the rest in terms of class, expertise, and knowledge.
