We truly cannot say enough good things about Barb. Any expectation we have ever had from a realtor has been blown away by Barb's amazing attention to detail, care for her clients, and the all around experience that she creates for her everyone involved with the buying or selling process with her. We randomly stumbled across one of her open houses in January 2020 while we were heading home for our kids' naptime, not thinking we would do anything more than simply peek at the house and see what was out there. We were immediately warmly greeted by Barb and an equally wonderful colleague of hers, Zoe, and we knew in an instant that this house was being shown by someone who truly cared about her clients, not just a realtor looking to make a sale. We ended up falling in love with the experience that we had in the house, which led us to place an offer and a month later get the keys at the closing table. To us it wasn't simply buying a house, it was buying a place we could confidently call home, and so much of how we felt at that open house we can attribute to Barb. Typically a vacant house would not be able to feel like a home, especially in the middle of a gloomy snowy cold Michigan day, but with the right attitude and caring qualities with which Barb showed this house, it absolutely did. Upon having our offer accepted on that house (which we proudly now call our home!) we also chose to use Barb's talents to list our own home and the experience has exceeded every expectation and dream we could have had in the selling process. Barb did her research on comparable homes in our area and had a home walk through with us, which was such an amazing help. We comfortably came up with a price to list for with her help and guidance, a date to list, a date to have an open house if we needed to, as well as a plan for staging our home with the items we had, as well as some pieces she personally uses for staging homes, to make the most of our space and it turned out beautifully! Barb even took our home photos for us so we did not have to lift a finger or scramble to hire a photographer, and we could not have ever imagined they would turn out as beautifully as they did! Our house was on the market not even 48 complete hours before we accepted an amazing offer, well over list price, and since accepting that offer Barb has assisted and guided us in completing all of the necessary steps to get us to the closing table. When I said we cannot say enough good things about Barb, we absolutely meant it. We have worked with realtors in the past but Barb is on an entirely different level. We truly feel honored to have had her on our team going through the buying and selling process, and if we weren't so happy with the home that we bought from her and her clients, we would happily sell and buy with her again in a heartbeat!
