He gave us confidence that we were getting exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond sending pictures and video throughout the process. He was invaluable during the mortgage loan process, Tom has a background in that area, but was extremely helpful during the walk-through as well. He caught things we would not have seen and some we didn't know could be changed.We were also in touch with Austin, the owner of the Callison Group, a few times - he could not have been more friendly and he knew what he was doing when he connected us with Tom. We got helpful emails from Callison Group, including ones with information on places in and around Boise to explore. They provided helpful checklists and contact Information for everything we might need to ease our move. I could not recommend Tom Jones and the Callison Group more.

He knows the market, and obviously is well thought of in the community. He has provided excellent references to conduct some projects we want to finish prior to moving, which has allowed us to find the right people for the jobs. He is responsive, professional, easy to work with, and has gone the extra 100 miles throughout the process of purchasing a home out of state. Throughout the preliminary requirements (home inspections, repairs, reviews of documents) he kept everything on track, and provided a solid base which alleviated a lot of stress. I rate him a 5 star agent, and would recommend him to everyone in the Treasure Valley area. I consider him a trusted and new friend as well.

Since we were not in Idaho, he used his knowledge to guide the buying of the property with all the twists and turns which happened to occur, and finally directed it to closing. I spent 10 years in the Real Estate Lending industry as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer, Branch Manager, and Area Assistant Vice President. For a decade I worked with 100's of Real Estate Agents on the buying and selling side, as well as many Homebuilding Contractors. I also spent 13 years in the construction industry. My expectations are always already unreasonably high and not usually met. My Wife and I met Austin through the internet as we began our search looking for a home in the Eagle, ID area. We were relocating from 35+ years in Southern Az. selling our beautiful custom designed home. Austin is and was one of the most professional, thorough, empathetic, detail oriented Real Estate professionals I've ever met. He showed incredible patience with us as our frustration increased from the decline in the market in Arizona and how long it took for our home there to sell. We never felt pressured and we never felt like we weren't going to find the right home for us. With my wife and I both being type "A" personalities he was incredible. We must have looked at over 130 homes with Austin in the Eagle area. His knowledge of the area, neighborhoods, subdivisions, and builders was top notch. We always felt that once our home sold in Az. and we were ready to finalize a purchase in Eagle Austin would guide us to the right home. We were absolutely 100% right. We found the right home and he really helped guide us to the right home for us. That's when things got even better. The service provided during the negotiations, offers and counter offers, the inspections, setting the closing date, all of things that can make a sale extremely stressful was even better. Austin and his Team were just amazing. We love our home and community and would have never been able to find the right home with the best results possible for us without Austin and his expertise. ZillowVERIFIED We listed our home with Austin because he used to be a neighbor of ours and felt he had the most knowledge about our home and neighborhood. Well, all I can say, is that if you want your realtor to be hands on, then Austin is NOT your guy. We felt almost abandoned once we signed the listing agreement. A couple of weeks went by, and Austin called us one day with a low ball offer (after we had already lowered the price on our home). We asked Austin his opinion on whether we should accept the offer or not. His reply was that he recently had a buyer make an offer on a home and when the seller made a counter offer the buyer walked away. That was it, we felt all he was concerned with was the commission from our sale, and not maximizing our selling price. He also did not disclose up front all of the fees we would be liable for at closing. Austin has a group of folks that work for him that seem very caring and conscientious, but in our opinion, Austin's priority is making the sale, and not necessarily with the sellers best interest at heart.
