ZillowVERIFIED When we were looking for a realtor, our friends actually recommended Aurora, who represented the seller they had bought their house from recently. They had been impressed by her and we are happy to say we feel the same and is hands down the best in the business (and we have bought and sold properties before). Being new to the area from the city, Aurora was a huge wealth of knowledge from schools to overhead flight patterns to even the mechanicals of the houses we viewed. Aurora took the time to really understand our needs as a family and was a huge advocate for us throughout the process. We always appreciated her honesty on pros and cons of each property - and she knew all the questions to ask that we didnt (especially things like the mechanicals to the type of ground/land/water on the property). Aurora was so proactive about upcoming listings and was always available to answer all our questions. We never felt pressure or rushed to buy - she was always incredibly honest about her POV on the value of what we were getting with each property we viewed. The true testament to how much Aurora cares and goes above and beyond was how helpful she was AFTER we bought the house. She helped with local service recommendations to checking in on how our boys were doing to connecting us with the original property owners and also proactively calling us a year after to flag that we could potentially save on property taxes! Even though I?ve been generally satisfied with each of these, I have never encountered a better real estate agent than Aurora. We first met her when we were looking for a short-term rental after moving out of NYC into Westchester County. She helped us locate and then gobble up a property that was just right for our needs, with a maximum or efficiency and appropriate pricing and location. My wife and I started our home search about one year later. Aurora valiantly showed us about fifty properties, each of which appeared on the web to satisfy our search criteria, but upon viewing them, did not. After a year of searching with Aurora, she took us back to a property which we had earlier rejected, and it ultimately became our new home. Aurora was fantastic throughout. She is a life-long resident of the area, so she is familiar not only with the landmarks but also with the real estate transactions and trends of the last thirty years. She has her ear carefully tuned to the market, so we could be assured that none of our few offers was excessive. She is plugged into all the local real estate service providers for moving. Inspections, construction, legal work and decorating, so whenever we needed a recommended business, she always had a list for us. Not only does she know the community very well, she really takes time to get to know her clients and make sure she is showing them homes that make sense for them. Additionally, she was very knowledgeable on the market and very good and figuring out what the real price of a home should be. We also never felt once that she was pressuring us to make a decision, and even when we went back and forth on a home, she did everything she could to make sure we were making the right decision. Aurora also helped us with the settling in process and even three years later always helps us with any questions we have (finding contractors, plumbers, babysitters, you name it).
