I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients throughout the Hayward and Stone Lake area. Recently, I had the opportunity to help a couple sell their lakefront home on the Chippewa Flowage. They had owned the property for many years and wanted to move closer to family, but they weren’t sure how to price it in today’s market. After a detailed market analysis and some light staging, we launched with professional photography, video, and drone footage to highlight the property’s best features and stunning water views. Within 3 days, we had 8 showings, multiple offers and secured a strong offer from qualified buyers. The inspection and closing process went smoothly thanks to proactive communication on both sides. It was incredibly rewarding to help my clients transition to their next chapter while achieving a sale price that reflected the true value of their home and the care they had put into it.
This is a story that is both happy and sad. A great friend of mine, Teri Heath, asked me if I'd ever be interested in being an agent on her Team, as she felt it was something that may be a great fit for me. I eventually got my license and joined the Team, and I loved working for Teri. However, she very unexpectedly passed away in 2021, after which I ended up purchasing the brokerage from her family and leading the Team. I hope she's proud of me and the continuation of her legacy! I'm so glad she recruited me all those years ago, as it certainly DID turn out to be something that was a great fit for me!
