Ashley Shaffer

For the past 16 years, Ashley has studied and worked in professional positions related to housing. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California-Davis in Community and Regional Development. She also skied competitively for the UC-Davis Ski Team. After graduation, Ashley was a City Planning Consultant for a variety of cities and counties across California. Her focus was in planning and writing "housing element" documents as part of these jurisdiction's general plans.

Ashley is a native New Mexican, raised in Santa Fe and Farmington before attending college in California. She was compelled to return to her native roots, realizing the Land of Enchantment is "as good as it gets" for a great quality of life! Upon her return, her first work assignment was with a non-profit writing grants for a multi-family housing developer. Through her new colleagues, Ashley was thrilled to be introduced to the idea of making real estate her lifetime career where she could combine her knowledge of housing and her passion for helping others. She grew her business organically and quickly by knocking on doors, holding open houses every weekend, and providing quality service to her clients.

In her first year as a Realtor, Ashley was chosen "Rookie of the Year" by the Greater Albuquerque Real Estate Association. Thanks to her exceptionally loyal clientele, personal referrals and repeat business, Ashley has built a solid foundation for the future success of "The Shaffer Group".
