ZillowVERIFIED I cant say enough good things about Art Lewis. He helped me sell my condo at Bayside Downtown and then helped me buy a house in North Park, and he was excellent on both sides. The sale of my condo went smoothly, but where Art really proved his value was on the purchase. We got into escrow on the North Park house and, after taking a closer look at everything, Art advised me that we should ask for a significant price reduction. The seller wouldnt agree to it, and instead of pushing me to move forward just to keep the deal together, Art told me I should cancel and walk away. That turned out to be the best advice I could have received. A few weeks later, we were able to come back to the same house and I bought it for nearly $100,000 less than the original deal. Yes, that much less! That experience really showed me that Art was looking out for my best interests, not just trying to close a transaction. He was honest, patient, strategic, and willing to give me advice that probably cost him time but saved me a lot of money. From what we understand, thats extremely difficult to pull off with new construction builders, and it made a huge difference for us. At this point, hes the first person I call whenever I'm buying or selling because I know hell tell me the truth, stay on top of everything, and help me make the right decision. On this last deal, Art helped me buy a rental home in Bonita. As usual, he was great throughout the whole process. He understands investment property way beyond just writing the offer. He helped me think through the numbers, the upside, and the overall structure of the deal so I felt good about what I was buying. One thing that really helped on this purchase was that Art was able to work out seller financing for part of the purchase price. That made the deal a lot better for me and probably saved me at least $10,000 in cash compared to going with a more typical lender setup and all the extra closing costs that come with it. What Ive always liked about Art is that hes straightforward and easy to reach. If I had a question, he answered it. If something needed attention, he handled it. He doesnt overcomplicate things, and he doesnt disappear once youre in escrow. After 10 transactions, I can say hes earned my trust. Id absolutely recommend him to anyone buying or selling property. Heres an even more casual version too: We just completed our 10th transaction with Art Lewis, which says a lot by itself. We keep working with him because hes honest, sharp, and always looking out for our best interests. This time he helped me buy a rental property in Bonita, and once again he was great to work with. He helped me look at the deal like an investment, not just a purchase, and gave me good advice the whole way through. The biggest bonus on this one was that Art helped put together seller financing for part of the purchase price, which made the deal even better. That alone probably saved me at least $10,000 in cash versus using a normal lender and paying the usual loan costs. Art is always available, always straightforward, and always on top of the details. ZillowVERIFIED There are a lot of real estate agents in the San Diego area but Art Lewis stands out in my mind as above the rest. Why? He cares. Yeah, yeah, you think a lot of agents care. But not the way Art cares. Art is there right when you want him and need him. If you text him, he's right back to you within seconds, not hours or days. If you need him to go to your dwelling to help fix something, he's there. If you need advice on something pertaining to a sale, he's there for your needs. He has the knowledge to answer any question. Art advised me on staging, re-painting, and to avoid an offer that was going to be more trouble than it was worth. Once a sale was made and was in escrow, we ended up not having to make any repairs. That's a seller's dream. Anyway, I recommend Art Lewis and If I were to buy again in San Diego I'd have no hesitation in hiring him again.

We contacted Art several years ago while living out of town, he prepared a custom search algorithm, and regularly checked in to "tune" the search criteria. ZillowVERIFIED Art, did a magnificent job in coaching me throughout the home sell process, when I was not feeling well he took care of things for me and always asked me what I wanted to do ... he spoon fed me, so to speak through all the documentation for selling and escrow and dealing with the buyers/and their realtor... his expertise advice saved me $15,000.00, plus in negotiations which I would have not known to do, if it were not for him ...
