Can't say enough good things about our experience with Arlo and his team. The special thing about Arlo (and his team) is that he's 5 stars across the board: 1) He's a PRO: Absolutely professional, yet personable and warm, from start to finish. 2) HE CARED ABOUT OUR GOALS: He's all about knowing and understanding our goals in a multi-dimensional fashion - not only about the house itself, but the surrounding neighborhood, city, county and other "x-factors" like school district, any relevant crime statistics and even local restaurants and fun stuff to do in the area.... he does an amazing job at implementing all of those things with nuance. 3) PERSONABLE & INTUITIVE: Arlo is never pushy. Things never feel rushed. If we needed to spend some extra time visiting a property to get a sense of it, he always made sure we could do that and he would give us the space to do so without crowding us with small talk; we felt we could imagine living in a space because our viewings were comfortable in this way.... Yet when time was of the essence, his timing was always snappy; he was on time, and we never felt any time was being wasted in the process. 5) EXPERIENCED: There's overall sense of experience and expertise with no hype; he was always positive, yet very clear about any negatives with a given property or the market overall, he kept things very objective and about our particular goals. This was a big plus. My wife and I sensed that he never forgets that this is a big life decision and always allowed us the space and time to think, take things in, and the space to ask any questions. If he didn't have an answer (which was rare) he'd find the answer fast. 5) GREAT COMMUNICATION; fast and detailed with no fluff. We always got the answers we sought and his response time never left us feeling like we were in the dark or didn't know what was coming. This kept the stress levels nice and low... especially appreciated during escrow and around closing! 6) CONFIDENT YET NEVER ARROGANT: He's never arrogant, and there's never any ego. He has a calm confidence (the kind that can only come from extensive experience). 7) Just a GOOD HUMAN: Arlo's a nice guy, but also an experienced and astute negotiator. We got a good, fair price and I always felt he was advocating for us while keeping things fair in an overall sense. This kept everything on track with the seller and the seller's agent. This can be a huge factor in securing a great home in a competitive market and he was really great in this key area as well. If you're seeking a great agent, your search is over; Go with Arlo. If you are reading this, then you are looking for a Realtor. I'd suggest you go with Arlo and his team. I found out about Arlo through a friend and went onto Zillow to read the reviews. He has several 5 star reviews, so we called and made an appointment. Arlo was able to see us the next evening and he had lots of info on hand, and we liked him so we immediately signed on with him. The house was on the market within a few days, with an open house in a week. The person Arlo got to stage the house was phenomenal, the house looked amazing. We got rid of everything personal, then the people came in and made the house look so good that I could barely recognize it. The results of the photos were stunning, and all the flyers looked wonderful. After the first weekend we had several offers. Its been about 6 weeks since we initially met Arlo, to closing. There have been times I've been frustrated and anxious, but Arlo's communication definitely helped put me at ease. I knew that Arlo had been working very hard in the background to get everything done. ZillowVERIFIED We decided to sell our home with Arlo after interviewing multiple agents because of his years of experience, connections, professionalism, and his confidence when answering all of my questions. He was very reassuring and just stood out above his competitors. I'm happy I didn't choose just anyone because we had a solar purchase agreement with Vivint and it made things a bit complicated but Arlo was on top of it. Secondly, he got our house off the market in the first 5 Days! And the offer was a record in my neighborhood! Unfortunately the buyer backed out and with us already relocating to our new home, we didn't want to pay the mortgage on top of rent. But again Arlo was on top of it. So we ended up going back on the market again and it was taken off the market just as quick as the first time, and again way over asking price. Throughout the whole process Arlo was reassuring, very informative and kept us up to date with everything that was going on. ZillowVERIFIED Buying a house is something that should be, understandably so, incredibly stressful. It's a lot of money, paperwork, time and effort with so many layers involved that the experience is draining. At least that is what I've heard from other people. Not with Ryan and Arlo at Blue Chip Realty Group. I contacted Arlo back in mid January hoping to have escrow closed prior to March 9th (I didn't even know what that meant beforehand, honestly). He put me in the hands of Ryan and I could not have been more satisfied with the process. I was completely green when it came to buying a house and probably asked some incredibly stupid questions, but Arlo and Ryan were patient and super responsive. I texted both of them at all times of the day and never went more than a few minutes before they responded. Arlo even responded when he was at a father/daughter dance and included a picture of him and his daughter! Not only did I feel like I was getting excellent service from these two, but building/establishing a friendship that I hope will continue moving forward. We dealt with nightmare selling/listing agents and never once did they become unprofessional when I know that I would have. They always keep the client's best interest in mind. When we closed on March 2nd, I had never thought it possible. The sellers also did not live up to their end of the request for repairs by performing a full move-out clean. I was incredibly upset and had just reached out to Ryan to inform him of such just to put it on his radar. Would you believe he contacted his own cleaners and had them over here the next day!? Out of his own pocket! Honestly, I could go on forever about how pleasant and easy my experience was. Seamless, informative, professional and friendly. In less than a month and a half I went from contemplating being a homeowner to happily being one. They never rushed me, never pushed me or made me feel bad for wanting to see a property over and over again. They never once seemed like they were in it for the money. They were just two nice guys trying to help my wife and I take the steps the achieve the future we are planning. Do yourself a favor and deal with these gentlemen. From our first meeting, Arlo's knowledge of real estate and his selling strategy was appealing to me. But what put him over the top for me was his GENUINENESS. He's very down to earth and relate-able. He was very quick to respond to any questions and concerns I had....even during a vacation that put him many time zones away. My sale went EXACTLY as he laid out during his initial meeting. And he got me $25,000 over asking price in a bidding war (that he predicted!!). Stop scrolling and hire Arlo. I contacted him and explained the situation, that this wasn't going to be an easy sale. I live out of state and really needed a partner to help coordinate repairs. We uncovered even more repairs than we identified early, but Arlo was able to keep our buyer interested through the 3 month repair process, at asking price! He is incredibly trustworthy, helpful, knowledgable, and maintains the best customer service at all times. He has fantastic communication and is very responsive, I don't think he takes a day off, even when he was on a family trip in Europe and Iceland he was still on-top of the sale and remained in close contact. We interviewed three realtors and then picked Arlo, and we're very glad that we did. Arlo's associate Ryan Hanninen handled our house purchase (see our separate 5-star review of Ryan). Arlo handled the condo sale. We were a bit apprehensive about our prospects for selling the condo, because a next-door unit had been on the market for 5 months, and had reduced its price twice, before finally selling for $470,000. Our unit had a bit of a view of Mission Valley that the next-door unit didnt have, but the next-door unit had recently been updated throughout, which our unit hadnt been. After what had happened next door, we were afraid our sale would take too long and that we wouldnt get our list price. WellaEUR|.. Thanks to Arlo, exactly the opposite happened!
