She helped us with every detail from finding remodel contractors to picking out design options to maximize resale value. She stands behind all work and makes sure everything is perfect. At that time we were contemplating moving to Hong Kong for retirement and selling our Walnut Creek house. After chatting with Antonia for 30 minutes or so, we were not only impressed by her profound knowledge and understanding of the housing market, but we were also touched by her personality- cordial, patient, amiable, intelligent and trustworthy. My wife Christine and I liked her so much that we would ask her to be our realtor when we needed one.In 2016, when we decided to go to Hong Kong for 2 years to find out if indeed it would be a good place for retirement, we contacted Antonia and she advised us to upgrade our home before we left and rent it out until we reached a final decision to sell. She also played an important role in working with the interior designer to complete the value added and cost effective upgrade. Earlier this year, we advised Antonia of our decision to sell the house in Walnut and asked her to be our listing realtor. She and her team moved in quickly to work with our property manager and the tenants. The tenants moved out in early April and we closed escrow on 5/18. During the entire process we were in Hong Kong. We were transplants to the area and had decided on Walnut Creek to escape the expensive home prices in the South Bay and still get top quality schools. Unfamiliar with the area, the neighborhoods, schools, and general life in WC, Antonia (with her great knowledge of WC) was the perfect ambassador to the area. After seeing tens of homes and a few months of hunting, we found the home we have today. Antonia spotted it on the broker's tour and made sure we saw the home immediately. The next day we put an offer in and it was accepted a few days after that. (our soon-to-be neighbors were shocked how quickly we moved)Even though we moved quickly on the offer and close... We are extremely cautious people. (We wanted several inspections) Antonia was very helpful in securing several inspections (general home inspection, chimney inspector, pool inspector, sewer, and electrical). We also checked the house for lead paint and asbestos via a lab (just to be sure!). This all happened quickly and professionally and helped us know exactly what we were buying. Today we consider Antonia a good friend and would recommend her highly. She knows this area, knows her craft, and is a pleasure to work with.
