Community Involvement
I proudly serve as the President of the Texas Tech Parent Association, a role I've held for the past two years. Through this position, I work closely with families across our community, helping them stay connected to Texas Tech University while supporting scholarships, outreach programs, and parent engagement initiatives. My involvement allows me to stay deeply rooted in the Lubbock community and gives me a strong understanding of the needs of families relocating to or living in the area.
HOBBIES/INTEREST
My hobbies include photography, paddleboarding, and exploring well-built historic homes. I'm especially fascinated by older houses and estates that showcase timeless craftsmanship, mature trees, and the natural habitats that reflect their history.
FAMILY
My husband and I have been married for over two decades and have proudly owned and operated a custom cabinet, furniture, and remodeling business in the Lubbock area for 26 years. We are the proud parents of two daughters--one a Doctor of Occupational Therapy graduate, and the other preparing to graduate from Texas Tech University this December. Family, education, and building lasting quality are at the heart of our story.

FAQ
My best advice for buyers: start by managing and reviewing your credit early so there are no surprises. A strong foundation makes the entire home-buying process smoother and more confident.
The #1 reason buyers swipe left…
And no—it’s not the price.
Buyers scroll listing photos in seconds. If a home doesn’t feel open, clean, and inviting right away, they’re already moving on to the next one.
Here’s how to make them stop scrolling:
Declutter like a pro
Less stuff equals more space. Clear surfaces, remove personal items, and let the home breathe.
Sell the lifestyle
Cozy corners, beautiful natural light, and inviting outdoor spaces help buyers picture their life there.
Freshen the high-impact areas
A touch of paint, clean floors, or a styled entry can make a big difference—no major remodel required.
Curb appeal counts (yes, even now)
A tidy yard and a welcoming front door set the tone before buyers even step inside.
Last but not least…the smell
An inviting scent matters. I once showed a home with a coffee and whiskey candle, and the buyer was instantly drawn in. That warm, cozy feeling sticks.
Homes that get these details right show better, get noticed faster, and often sell quicker—sometimes closer to asking price.
I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, including first-time homebuyers, buyers planning for retirement, and those searching for their forever home. I enjoy guiding clients through every stage of life—whether it’s their very first purchase, a transition into easier living, or finding a home that truly fits their long-term goals.
One of my most meaningful recent transactions was helping a young couple purchase their first home just before welcoming their second baby. They were unsure whether buying was even possible and felt nervous about the financial process.
I walked them through their finances step by step and connected them with a trusted local lender, helping them understand their options and what they could comfortably afford. They were surprised to learn they could purchase a beautiful home with a payment similar to their rent.
Through careful negotiation, I secured a significant seller concession and a full year of home warranty coverage, giving them peace of mind as first-time homeowners. Seeing their excitement and confidence at closing was a powerful reminder of why I love what I do.
I got started in real estate because I’ve always understood how important it is for families to have a place to call their own. After spending many years alongside my husband helping care for, improve, and maintain homes for families throughout our community, it felt like a natural next step to take that experience further.
Helping families find their dream home—rather than just maintaining the one they’re in—allowed me to combine my love for homes, people, and service. Real estate became a meaningful way for me to support families during one of the most important decisions of their lives.
I bring nearly 30 years of hands-on experience helping families design, improve, and maintain their homes. This background gives me a unique advantage when working with both buyers and sellers—especially those preparing to list their homes.
Because I understand how homes are built, updated, and maintained, I can help sellers identify which improvements truly add value and which ones are unnecessary. I also help buyers see the potential in a home and understand how spaces can be improved or adapted to fit their needs. This practical experience allows my clients to make informed, confident decisions and often helps them get the most out of their investment.
