Want to get to know me better? My major at UCONN was animal ???science and pathobiology and my goal was to help in discovering cures for diseases and help people on a grand scale. I was hired as a research assistant at Yale University, but I quickly realized I could not work confined to a lab all day for the rest of my life. ???? I desired more human connections and more immediate results for helping people because research requires years for results. So how did I go from the sciences to real estate? ? Growing up, my parents were savvy enough to know real estate builds personal wealth ? and they purchased a few investment properties through the years. I was familiar with property management and curious about real estate so decided to take night classes to earn my real estate license. Shortly after starting the courses, I fell in love ? with the industry and left my cushy position at Yale to practice real estate full time just a few months after getting my license. When I started, I had to prove to people that although I was only 24 years old and did not yet own a home myself, I was more than capable of negotiating and had extensive knowledge about the business because if it was real estate related, I read it ? or watched it ?. Also, surrounding myself with other successful Realtors allowed me to learn from some of the best! Throughout my almost 20 years in the industry, my business has grown substantially thanks to my work ethic, marketing strategy and taking care of clients the way I would my own family and friends. On a personal level, I'm a first generation American whose parents immigrated from Italy ?? in the 1970's. Sunday dinners ? around the grandparents (Nonni) table still take place every weekend.
