Hi, we're Jay and Anita Sherley, founders of Sherley Real Estate, and helping people navigate some of life's biggest decisions is something we've been honored to do for nearly 20 years here in the Helena area. Real estate has never just been about property for us. It's about people, relationships, and helping our clients move confidently into the next chapter of their lives.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of helping buyers, sellers, landowners, and ranch clients across Montana with everything from first homes to legacy properties. Anita brings deep market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a steady, detail-oriented approach to every transaction, while Jay's background in business, land, and ranch properties helps clients think strategically about both lifestyle and long-term value. Together, we strive to make the process feel clear, grounded, and genuinely supported from start to finish.

Outside of real estate, community has always been a central part of our lives. In 2008, we founded Life Houses Inc., a nonprofit focused on supporting at-risk youth in the Helena community. That work continues to shape how we lead, serve, and build relationships both personally and professionally.

At Sherley Real Estate, our goal has always been simple: serve people well, communicate clearly, and build relationships that last long after closing day. We believe real estate should feel personal, steady, and rooted in trust.

When we're not working, you'll usually find us spending time with our growing family and 12 grandchildren, enjoying Montana's outdoors, supporting local causes, or sharing good conversation with friends over a glass of wine.
