He was extremely knowledgeable about the market, so that he could foresee challenges and issues a mile away. He also has a strong network of contractors and other home improvement experts, which we have found very valuable. For a home we liked that needed a lot of updating, he was proactive about setting us up with a contractor to get a sense for renovation costs, so that we could make an educated purchase decision. We were a bit intimidated by the intensity of competition in the bay area market, but Andrew kept us optimistic. At the end of the day, Andrew helped us find a wonderful home. We were particularly impressed with (i) his responsiveness, (ii) his in-depth review of disclosures, and (iii) his insights when it came to deciding upon a purchase price. ZillowVERIFIED We were working with another agent for a couple of months before working with Andrew. We had seen over 30 houses and put down 4 offers that didn?t go our way. We were burnt out and about to throw in the towel, but then our friends recommended we talk to Andrew as he helped them buy their house a few years ago. The day we had our introductory call with Andrew, we asked him for more information about a house we were interested in. He immediately got in touch with the listing agent and found out that they were likely going into contract that night, but that we could win if we offered X$. Though we ultimately did not go with that house, we appreciated how quickly Andrew acted and how much information he was able to elicit from the listing agent. As we continued our housing search, our sense of trust in Andrew continued to grow. Andrew thoroughly reviewed disclosures, called out any red flags, and helped us estimate repair costs. This was extremely helpful as first time home buyers. Andrew also has great connections and was often able to work some magic behind the scenes. One thing we really appreciated was his ability to get on the phone with the listing agent and find out the number that would ?get it done?. This helped us feel more in control in our buying journey. In contrast, with our previous agent we felt like we were putting out offers and hoping they would be enough to win. The agent you work with makes a HUGE difference. Andrew made the stressful experience of buying a house way less stressful. We can?t recommend him enough!

We are first time buyers and knew next to nothing going into this process - so intimidating. We still cannot believe our luck that we ended up with Andrew as our realtor simply by clicking ?Request a tour? on a Zillow listing. From the moment Andrew began communicating with us, we could tell he was truly listening and hearing us as we stumbled through figuring out what we were hoping to find. Andrew?s communication style is the kind that makes you feel like you?re really working with a teammate; someone who wants to make sure you are truly happy with the home you buy. His expertise of the market, the area, and the process seamlessly guided two clueless new buyers through to finding the most perfect first home. Once we found the house (which we are absolutely in love with), Andrew?s approach to making an offer and negotiation abilities really showed us that he is truly one of a kind. I?d argue that this is his greatest strength, despite being such an expert in all other areas that I?ve already described, but I can?t say that because Andrew?s greatest strength is actually how genuine and down to earth he is. He is truly a good human who makes you feel beyond comfortable no matter how knowledgeable you are coming into the process and how many ?dumb? or ?annoying? questions you think you?re asking. We were anticipating an extremely stressful process and weren?t confident we?d even be able to buy in the area we loved, but Andrew guided us through so well that the process was actually more fun than stressful. He led us through it, navigated and helped us manage family opinions, met us for multiple viewings of our house with minimal notice, and all while we were living separately (me in SoCal and my boyfriend in NorCal) and on completely different schedules (typical 9-5 schedule and night shift) without skipping a beat. He is not aggressive or pushy like some agents but he will fight for you as his client. My girlfriend and I were anxious at times when purchasing our first home together but working with Andrew, who has a calm but confident energy, helped put us at ease. Usually, the problem with real estate agents is that their incentives may not be aligned with yours. In other words, they may try to get you deal that does not fit your needs, just so they can earn the commission. But Andrew is not like that. Andrew is an all-around 5 stars agent. He is trying to find you a deal that will make you feel happy in the long-term. He always advised us to keep the long-term perspective and our overarching goal in mind. While I teach negotiation, I knew nothing about real estate, and was feeling very nervous about buying a home. I did not know anything about the process.
