She did such a great job staging the home, taking pictures and being very detailed of the description of the home that we got an offer $25k above asking price in less than 24 hours of Andrea listing the home. She was so efficient in having everything processed quickly and smoothly all over again. The buyers of our home were super happy and so were we. This year after having our first child my husband and I decided to relocate for a quality of life change and asked Andrea to help us sell our home. She eager to do so even though she was facing a challenge of us selling our home too quickly. Which meant we wanted to at least break even so we do not lose money. She was very informative with us in understanding the sellers market. Andrea quickly sprung into action and came over to our home to give us details on what should be done and what we should expect. These details not only included her explanation in what we as home sellers should expect but also the staging of our home and making it buyer friendly. She did an exquisite job on helping us stage our home with the furniture I already have. She advised me on buying a can of paint and painting my kitchen cabinets so they can look fresh and modern. She told us a fresh coat of paint can go a very long way. We painted our entire house including our kitchen cabinets. By the time we were done we were amazed. Our home looked bright, airy, and very spacious. We also had functionality because of the way she told us to arrange our furniture. I wish I could post a before picture of my kitchen which was my biggest concern with buyers but every single viewing we had made a comment about our kitchen. To them it was an upgraded kitchen. Thanks to Andrea's suggestion to buy a $37 gallon of paint we got the best feedbacks on our kitchen. After the painting and staging was done Andrea took the time to take pictures of our home for posting. Aside from being a realtor and a home stager she should definitely take up photography too. The pictures showed the home as it was and its greatest light. Home buyers knew as soon as they stepped in that the home looked exactly like the pictures. The time and effort she put into making sure she captured the beauty in our home is worth praise. Everything she did for us was worth it because we were getting viewings and offers. Our house was priced higher than we bought it for but the fresh coat of paint and staging made it the selling price seem reasonable. We finally received a full price offer in less than two months on the market. Unfortunately at the time we were received this amazing full price offer we had to decline due to a personal injury at work and an emergency surgery my husband had to have. This not only postponed our quality of life move but also the sale of the home. The buyers loved the home so much that they were willing to go into contract and wait till we were ready to move. However, we didn't want the burden of not knowing when we could be ready again so we kindly declined and wished them the best of luck in their home search. Although I secretly hope they are still looking for a home when we can put the house back up on the market so they can finally buy it from us. Andrea did such an amazing job. She exceeded all of our expectations. We have dealt with over 15 realtors in the past. You can combine them all and they still wouldn't be as amazing as Andrea is. Any question we had, any concern, every worry, she made sure we were well informed, educated on the matter, and at ease. The entire process whether it is buying or selling is a stressful one but when you have a realtor and what I now like to also call a friend like Andrea I guarantee you will get the results you expected in the end. A job well done. I do want to add that even though our plans to sell are put on hold we are enjoying our home more than ever now. Who knows everything happens for a reason. Maybe we were meant to stay in NY. The staging Andrea did for us definitely made us feel more at home and with an infant, a dog, and husband that works long hours, I as a housewife feel very content with the way our home looks and feels now. Andrea struck us as a knowledgeable and experienced agent from the start - she had no trouble showing us any and all properties we were interested in and more importantly, offered invaluable tips and advice about what to look for and what to avoid. Although it probably took us longer than usual in terms of the number of properties seen, we were finally able to settle on the one that stood out to us. Thanks to Andrea's negotiation skills we were able to lower the asking price by a considerable amount and settle on the contract terms. The process was simplified still because she provided us a list of local attorneys and recommended lenders. Andrea's recommendations proved right as both the mortgage company and the lawyer we worked with turned out to be attentive and professional and we were able to secure a loan and close on the house in just over a month after getting an accepted offer. I don't have anything else to compare my experience to, however I don't see how our home buying process could have gone any better.
